The food was pretty good but there was an altercation between workers that made it feel a little uncomfortable. This was my first time going through after traveling from Navarre, Fl. so don’t want to judge a restaurant based on one experience. I’d recommend everyone give it a try because after all the food wasn’t bad.
I'm originally from Hattiesburg, MS - Ward's original location opened in the 1970's. I always order a Big One, fries and a Ward's root beer, their very own formula. The Big One is a chilli burger with cheese, mustard and pickles. I was craving one from the Florida state line all the way to Gulfport. It was every bit as good as I remember from my teen years.
