4th street is by far the worst bar in Hattiesburg. The rudest most illiterate bartenders that have ever existed. They don’t let you in because you’re wearing a “hoodie” act like they live in Chicago or Detroit when they are literally in the most uneducated capital of the world MISSISSIPPI! DONT GO HERE!! You’ll likely get stabbed or shot for thinking differently. Their food is terrible and drinks are even worse. Please tell me why I can’t wear a hoodie when it’s cold outside. I offered tolet them pat me down in a hoodie and they refused and still made me take the hoodie off. The bartenders are absolutely the worst I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve been to all lower 48 states. This place is garbage!

Frank is the best bartender I have ever had serve me! He is patient and makes sure he gets what you need! He makes you feel welcome, and he has never disappointed me once! Love this bar and Frank!

Typical bar atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday afternoon. 4-5 people in the bar. Bartender was very pleasant. There are 4 pool tables in a different area from the bar. The tables are $1/game and pretty worn and not kept up (dusty, torn felt).

Not everyone who work at this place is bad, in fact all the guys that's bartenders are great. I ran into this young lady that basically refused to serve me a drink because I didn't leave a tip the time before. I didn't know that any customers were obligated to give tips, and she went as far as saying it's mostly (BLACKS) that don't leave tips. Very racist thing to say to someone that comes by regularly just to have a few drinks. I don't think it's anything wrong with leaving tips at all but leave it up to the customer. You don't know that person's financial situation or whatever. You knew when you took the job what they were paying an hour, nobody is obligated to give you their hard earned money....
