Purchased lunch special with orange chicken, Rangoon, and 2 yum yum sauce for $10.15. It was ok. Orange Chicken was decent but with no spice. I liked the rice but yum yum cause reminded me of thousand island (no) and the Rangoon were okay. I probably won't return but I'm glad I got the experience. The owner was very kind and brought my food to the car.
The food was what you expect from an express Chinese restaurant. Not great, but not bad either. Why none of these places can figure out what spicy means is beyond me. When I asked if they used real Sichuan peppercorns in the Szechuan beef they couldn't answer, so I ordered Hunan beef instead. When I got home and tasted the Hunan beef I got a bottle of red cayenne pepper and gave it a good sprinkling. Both Szechuan and Hunan beef have the little red pepper on the menu...
First the chicken, Hot but not flavorful at all. The egg roll, no flavor. I got beef and shrimp with mixed veggies and it JUST DIDN’T HAVE NO FLAVOR. I’ll give them one more chance just to see if they were just having a bad day.
