We attempted to eat here on Sunday, 4/7/24 at a little after 11:00am. After entering the restaurant, we notice a few customers eating in the dining area, and no one waiting to be served at the counter. The manager was standing in the kitchen area glaring at us, and did not bother to greet or acknowledge us. This lady does not seem to be at all interested in doing her job. We went ahead and walked out because it was obvious that she did not want to be bothered. There are always new employees at this location, and on this day, there was no employee at the register inside the restaurant at all. This particular manager is consistently rude, I know because I have had prior, unfortunate experiences in making contact with her here. Someone should immediately look into whether this woman is the cause of the high employee turnover. I can certainly attest to her bad attitude being the cause of us not making a purchase here that day. I am not interested in spending my money where I feel I am not welcomed. That manager could benefit greatly from a customer service training course.

On 1/7/2024 I placed an online order at the CatainD’s in Hattiesburg, MS. I selected that I would pick it up at 1:00pm. When I got there at 1:00 pm the woman at the window told me someone else had already picked up my order. I told her that it was not me. Another woman came to the window and told me that someone else had picked up my order and she could not remake it. She shut the window in my face and walked off. We were on vacation in Mississippi, we saw several Captain d restaurants. I looked up their menu and saw that they had several grilled fish options on the menu. For health issues I prefer to eat grilled food. We went to the Captain D's in Hattiesburg Miss. when we went in and went to make our order they only had one piece of grilled fish available I ordered that with as the grilled white fish meal. My wife ordered fish and I had the the one piece of grilled white fish. It wasn't bad but my wife's meal was not good. I had hoped to go to another Captain D's in the future when I saw the grilled items on their menu.But now I am very disappointed .this was Oct 18-23

Was pretty sure the place wasn't open, looked empty and disused. Fish has gotten decidedly smaller, had 2 chicken strips - 1 was about 3.5-4" and the other might have been 1.5"
The quality of the food was very very poor...the fish tasted fishyThe Cole slaw was very bad like it was spoiled.There were no healthy options on the menu at all no salads or anything like thatI will.never eat here again!!!Someone with corporate needs to do an inspection on this location. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The limitations on the side options are not financially friendly. It's like the limited the choices buy increasing the cost of the more popular sides in order to promote the less chosen sides. Just threw off my entire taste experience.
