What a pleasant surprise! The food was hot and delicious! Great portions for the price! The restrooms were very clean. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to my next visit! The service was good. Our waitress was pleasant. Just maybe not as engaging as I prefer. Overall I highly recommend Compadres and look forward to my next visit.

The best Mexican food I’ve found in Hattiesburg. Hell, best I’ve had since Arizona. I travel a lot and am normally disappointed in the average to below average Mexican food available. I took one bite of the Birria tacos and stopped to take a picture. Never dipped a taco in broth before. Damn good.

The waitress tried. The ambience was mediocre, which I can handle. But, the steak fajitas were atrocious! Dry! Way overcooked! First and last time there! $40 in the garbage. Too many better options out there!

It was freezing in the place with an ac vent blowing rite on me. Then when i got my check it was 29.00 then when i got to the counter they forgot two items which made it 32.00. If you give me a ticket for 29.00 dont expect me too pay more when i get to the register. I will not be back here at all screw yall

Food was made wrong. Asked for sauce in the side, instead my food was basically smothered in it. Ordered churros for dessert but ended up not wanting them and was just ready to go because the food was nasty. Was told that the manager didn’t take food off the ticket so I could take them to go. I said no. The churros were eventually taken off but I was still charged an extra dollar for the inconvenience of taking them off. Won’t go ever again. THEY SUCK

Food is amazing, just the lack of customer service period from the waitresses is what I don't like about this place, being as I'm a waitress/bartender also and I bring a certain personality to the table so my customers can get to know me and have a better experience.. We love the food here and the horchata tho.

Birria Tacos were delicious with a strawberry margarita. Great prices. Normally, you're spending easily over 20 plus bucks nowadays. I only spent about 17bucks before tip for 3 big tacos, a drink, and a few other add-ons.

Nice and quiet spot. I absolutely love the Veggie Quesadillas! They are packed full! And honestly, hands down, best refried beans around! How they do it ? no one knows!
