We recently moved to the area from StLouis and have been craving the fine dining we had available in quantity. This place foots the bill in service, food, and atmosphere. They should pay their chef double or triple, whatever it takes to keep them. Everything we had from salad through dessert was perfect in seasoning, quantity, and presentation. I don’t know of any gumbo I’ve had better than theirs. Save room for the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert. Nothing like it...

I very seldom give a negative review because I understand every circumstance is different. But food was mediocre at best. Chargrilled oysters were dime-sized. Mahi with Ponchatrain sauce was mostly mushrooms instead of crab topping. Tea was watered down. Waitress and service were exceptional. Had friends in from out of town. Expected better quality food from such a nice place. Maybe better experience next time.

Walking into the restaurant, it sets you up to have high standards of service and associates who love their jobs.
The server was very short and a “what do you want attitude.” Never asked us how the meal was, do you have any questions, or how are you today. We didn’t even know his name till we got the receipt.
