Best bbq in Hattiesburg!

Justin went over the top to welcome us visitors from MN! Food was very good, staff was incredibly friendly, and atmosphere was great. The high standards set by the Eagan, MN location were met in the south!

Wife and I enjoyed our first visit here today. It was a Sunday at 4pm dinnertime.
We both ordered a 2 meat plate.
Her - pulled pork/ chopped brisket. Mac n cheese. Potato casserole
Me- pulled pork. Sliced brisket. Mac n cheese. Green beans.
Food was really good actually.
We're from Texas so We're familiar with this chain.
Bbq sauce - as a sauce, its ok. I personally dont like sauce on my brisket if its smoked.
Sides were excellent. Well seasoned.
NEGATIVES - MEAT PORTIONS NEED TO BE IMPROVED CONSIDERING THE PRICE!!
TOO CHINTSY ON THE AMOUNT.

I was there on October 2, 2025 and I ordered 3 1/2 lb. brisket plates with potatoe salad and okra , 1/2 lb extra brisket and a slab ribs the food excellent they done a excellent job on everything this is why I give them a 5 star rating and I recommend Dickeys Barbecue Pit to anyone who loves barbecue. The employees there are very friendly and polite

The food was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The brisket was very dry. The lady taking orders was very rude as well. Overall, I was not impressed!

The ribs were dry as if they had been under a heat lamp too long. That would have explained it if it was 2:00 but it was right before noon. So I didn’t eat a couple of them. Sides were fresh and very good.

Could you please enlighten me what are you considering a convenience fee is? I would suggest putting all of your additional fees at the register so everyone can see prior to paying for their order. “NO HIDDEN FEES”

Service was excellent and the pulled pork sandwich was one of the best i have ever eaten. If you pass by this location at Turtle Creek Mall in Hattiesburg, MS, without stopping, you are missing out on a great opportunity and a truly amazing experience.
