Went in today at 1:30 p.m. and there wasn't a soul serving customers. All I could hear were girls in the back jiving. I didn't know they close at 1:00 pm. Bunch of part timing liberals running this restaurant I guess.

It might seem silly but the restroom here is so clean. On a long rod trip, this was a pleasant surprise.

I had the bacon cheese burger with onion rings. The burger gets a B+ overall very good. The onion rings get a B+ also. very good...not the best I've ever had, but good. The waitress("Sweet T") was very fast and friendly...she gets an A

Good place to grab a quick meal, always hot and fresh. Quick service, very little wait if any.

The food here changes each but it is not your typical gas station food. The ladies here actually do cook with care and the locals will have this place jumping at lunch time. They also have a subway connected with this location if you prefer a fresher option. Seating is limited but plenty to sit about 40. They have a Facebook page (look up Dru's Diner) If you would like to see the menu of the day. The location is right outside Camp Shelby South Gate convenient to get on and off base for my Soldiers here for training. If you want some good ole southern home cooked meal this is the spot!

We eat here a good bit. We came tonight 3/15/23 and like aways the food is the good old southern cooking great! However once the young white lady with long brown hair breeds came to ask what we wanted to eat she never came back to the table. She sit the entire time we was there talking to 2 men about her dogs. The only one working the floor was a lady of color and some man cleaning. If it hadn't been for the other lady we still would be waiting on our food to come to the table.

Working at camp shelby, this was the only place we ate for lunch. Meat, 2 sides and drink for $10 & change, and the food changed every day. Neither myself or anyone I worked with had anything bad to say about any food we received. Can't go through any drive through for that price and got plenty to eat.
Stopped in and first let me say that the staff was so nice and welcoming. I got some really fresh delicious food, I had fried chicken, green beans, and cole slaw(yummy) as well as a piece of red velvet cake and it was so GOOD! Ohhhh and the bathroom was CLEAN!

Didn't eat there... Food did not look appealing at all....Appeared to have one meat choice with a large selection of starchy dishes...Who ever comes up with the daily menu needs to really rethink their selections..
