Jay's Tavern is a hidden gem in Hattiesburg! The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a drink with friends or winding down after work. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently fast. Great selection of drinks, and the food—especially the wings—is surprisingly good for a bar setting. They often have live music or karaoke nights that keep the energy fun without being overwhelming. Definitely one of my go-to spots in the area. Highly recommend checking it out!

Parking: Lots of parking but also a whole lot of folks. Younger, redneck crowd and line dancing
The music is good, but they play it way too loud. The place gets very crowded and there is limited seating. They do have a sign by the DJ booth that says no drinks on the dance floor, but I continuosly saw people taking their drinks and cigarettes on the dance floor. The dance floor is a good size, but needs to be sanded down smooth because now it is uneven and is a trip hazard. For some reason there are regularly 6 or more people moving in and out of the bar/grill area. ???

I took my daughter there for her 30, bday., .It was wonderful, very nice bartenders and even the regular locals that fregent there. 2 pool tables with surprisingly straight sticks, and a awesome selection of music.. nice size dance floor, and very clean bathrooms, Very friendly people and authentic rustic theam, also has a DJ and karaoke..
