This place is a gem in Hattiesburg. My wife and I came here for lunch on a Tuesday. We had the chicken satay appetizer. She had the honey pork entrée while I had the crispy duck both entrées were fresh, savory and prepared with love. I know this because the rice came in the shape of a heart! The service was exceptional. I will definitely be back.

I rarely leave bad reviews - but I did try to talk with them first. Ordered through Uber eats, arrived really quickly, no idea how it tastes as they included no utensils. I ordered soup, green curry, spring roll. How do you eat soup without a spoon?I did call the restaurant directly before reviewing. I did not want a refund or anything - just wanted to tell them instead of leaving a review. The person who answered the phone just said she didn’t really know why they didn’t put a napkin, spoon, chopsticks and gave me the most insincere ‘sorry’ - Totally unapologetic. It would have been fine if they had seemed the least bit interested.

The best pad thai I’ve ever had. Karla made it and it was excellent in every way. Right amount of sweet and spice, the peanuts gave the dish a slight charcoal taste and brought together the complex flavor profile. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life. The Toong tong dumplings were very crisp and flavorful as well, and so was the very simple yet rich soup of the day.The inside of the restaurant had this very cozy mid 2000s vibe and the servers Alex and Maxine were very nice and helpful. Maxine was very personable and helped us navigate the menu and made us feel at home. The owner even came up and greeted us at our table, making sure everything was up to standard.Incredible food, excellent customer service, and a cozy atmosphere. This is my favorite restaurant in Hattiesburg and it is no surprise that they are rated the number #1 restaurant in TripAdvisor. I wholeheartedly recommend you eat here.

From the outside, this little gem is unassuming but don't let that deter you. Walk in and the tables are tastefully dressed cloth tablecloths and elegant place settings. The menu is several pages. I ordered fresh rolls(spring rolls). Each dish is pleasing to the eye and palette. I also ordered a dish I cannot pronounce (#26 on page 3). It was chicken with vegetables in a spicy basil sauce. This also included a vegetable soup - the broth alone was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and did everything with ease.

A true hidden gem in Hattiesburg. Jutamas has the best flavors in town and every time I leave there I am always satisfied with any dish I order. I am typically a creature of habit when it comes to restaurants, but I know Jutamas is a place I can go and anything off the menu will be superb. Just tried their Panang curry for the first time and it was so delicious. Some of my go to orders: Panang curry, no meat Yellow curry, no potatoes * Pad Thai with any meat is good * Shrimps asparagus * Drunken doodles * Thai eggplant * Thai fried rice (this one is a classic choice and is safe for people who are hesitant about trying new foods) , it has this fresh and fragrant flavor Both Hattiesburg locations are delicious but I'm faithful to the downtown location. They always have fresh flowers and the staff is nice. Peaceful ambiance.

Staff is always friendly, love the pad c-ew and the pad thai. The scenery and vibe it gives is very fancy because it's a little dimmed in there and it makes the food stand out more. Me personally I love how they decorate the plates with a signature, it just looks really professional. Would definitely be back again.

So first let me say I typically have a wonderful experience at Jutamas. In fact it's one of our favorite date night places. Tonight took an ugly turn, guess that what I get for deviating from my usual. Anyway, I chose to order the Grilled mixed seafood because it had both scallops and shrimp which are my top choices for seafood. Well, my order once I got home was a massive lobster tail and 3 scallops. Lobster tail!! Why is he complaining?!! Well this lobster was the toughest tail I've ever encountered and it tasted a little aged. I basically sat it to the side and ate the majority vegetarian meal that cost me $35. Not one single shrimp in the entire dish. If they were out they should have just communicated that with me. I mean I waited 30 minutes more than what I was told over the phone. The flavor of the sauce and rice was great but the quality and what matched the menu was disappointing.

I work here, and I think maybe sometimes some employees get fired & leave a bad review for the restaurant. We maintain fresh food in the kitchen.Vegetarian options: We have gluten free options on the majority of our menu. And vegetarian also.
