Oh man.Newk's has become a shadow of it's former self.Once upon a time we loved Newk's.After two lunches at this one, we shall not be returning.On the first occasion I got a salad. The greens weren't particularly fresh and the salad was drowning in dressing, which was bitter.Second time, the bread on the sandwich wasn't cooked all the way. The avocado on the sandwich was definitely brownish, and like before the freshness left much to be desired.Sad

Worst customer service I’ve ever had and this came from the night manager this evening. If you’re looking for a restaurant in town that values you as a customer, look elsewhere. We’ve continued to come back even when our order wasn’t always correct, but no more. Had a receipt for $135 and change tonight and they wouldn’t accept cash payment. Had exact amount on me but manager wouldn’t accept because one bill was a one hundred dollar bill. Didn’t need to make change but still refused to accept the cash. Luckily I had a debit card on me but it will the last time any of my cards or cash will be used at this place. I understand if they need to make change for a hundred that it could put them in a bind but no need on this occasion. His little smirk about the situation didn’t improve my mood. We’ve reached a point in our society where most of the people you deal with don’t care if you come back or not, they’re still going to draw their wage for being there regardless. To top it off, got all the way home and part of our order was wrong.

Always good choices at a reasonable price. A lot more reasonable than Panera and better food.
Never ate @ this restaurant..... when i entered it was so nice like top notch nice of course i had to look around. My favorite items so far is the TEA OMG ITS SO GOOD.... THEN THE SANDWICH CHICKEN BACON WITH WHITE BARBQ SAUCE WAS BUSSING.

Please do not buy gift cards from here! My mom went and they would not honor it because her total didn’t match the exact amount of the card! She went over 2$ and they said she couldn’t pay the difference (policy)! That came from the Manager!! HOW can you order the exact amount of a gift card.. it just doesn't happen! We have a retail store and you do not loose one family from that.. you loose multiple families. I’m flabbergasted ? my moms favorite place to eat and she’ll never be back! First bad review that I have ever written and I am sorry. It just needs to be addressed

Starting this off, I'm not a fan of sandwiches at all, but this place has one of the friendliest and positive staff. Not to mention the vibe here is absolutely amazing, I always see a smile on everyone's face and probably one of the prettiest buildings i've ever seen in hattiesburg. Fan favorite for me personally is the Newk's Q (obviously!) and to follow that up with a miss vickey's bbq chips. This is definitely the place that would turn me into a sandwhich person for not being a sandwhich person.
