I had a great experience at Patio 44! I ordered the Catfish and Grits, and it did not disappoint. The catfish was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A special shoutout to my server, Kelsey, who was attentive, friendly, and made the whole dining experience that much better. She kept everything running smoothly and made sure I had everything I needed.

We visited Patio 44 at noon on a Friday. Sat on the patio and had a great meal. Our waitress, Shelby, was particularly awesome! She was prompt & personable. She overheard that it was our wedding anniversary so she surprised us with a serving of white chocolate bread pudding & 2 spoons. It was so delicious! Great experience. We will definitely return!

Start off with the positive. The patio was lovely. The weather was perfect. Our service person was pleasant and attentive. The soft drink and water we drank were top notch. The negative. My crab cakes and asparagus were mostly inedible. The asparagus would not cut with a knife and everything was over salted. DH ordered the special which included tasteless red fish with a watery bowl of seafood on the side.. He said the grits tasted old and the crab on the half shell was also watery. The ants stung me twice but I don’t know what they could do about that. It was a distressing meal and will be hard to forget spending $85 with tip. I’m so sorry I suggested it while, spending the night in Hattiesburg.

Patio 44 is one of our favorite restaurants in Hattiesburg. We brought an out of town guest to brunch last Sunday (her first visit) and unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. We were seated promptly and our server greeted us immediately. While the server was very attentive, the service was extremely slow. Once we were served, the food was cold. Waffles and Eggs Benedict really need to be hot to be enjoyed. I am writing this review to let management know that there were obviously some problems in the kitchen last weekend. I hope they have been addressed so our next visit will earn the usual 5 stars.
