Rock N Roll Sushi Hattiesburg

My daughter and I went to Rock N Roll Sushi today I wanna give a special shout out to Roy for being an excellent sevrant.

I normally don't do this, whatsoever, but the service here just wasn't great at all. I work in Midtown and met my sister here for lunch- we didn't receive our drinks for 15 minutes, then we ended up having to take our food to go. I sat in the building my entire hour lunch break and had to come back and eat at the office. They weren't busy, LITERALLY three other individuals in the facility. So while the food is good, don't try to eat here for your lunch break, it will NOT get done.

Made my Doordash driver wait over half an hour for our incredibly small order, then it turned out to be the wrong one, not what we ordered. Step it up, no excuses.

Placed a to-go order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Once I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later I was told the order hadn’t even been started and they weren’t sure when they would start (ended up waiting for an additional 30 minutes). Other people were sitting around waiting for their to-go orders, tables were sitting with no food and the waitresses were consistently telling people they weren’t sure when their orders would be ready. I’ve gone to a couple Rock n Roll locations over the years and the service has consistently had a lot of room to improve and the food has usually always been good. It’s just disappointing.

Listen, IDK WHO WAS THE DAMN CHEF THIS EVENING ROUND 4-5pm I think, but whew this food SOOOOO GOOD AND SEASONED TO PERFECTION!!!!!! Also the 3 young ladies were sweet!!!! Thankssssss!!!!! I had the steak & chicken hibachi rice no onions with fried crawfish sushi!

Took an hour to get food and the food was cold and nasty

Food was great, atmosphere was chill, music was good! Servers were friendly and pleasant. 10 out of 10 will definitely go again!

My husband and I visited this restaurant in hopes of having some good hibachi & sushi.. There were a total of 5 customers in there including us. We ordered two hibachis and a sushi roll. We received our roll, and the sushi had no taste to it.. Their pink sauce looked clumped together and almost like it was expired. After an hour of waiting, we then received our hibachi hoping it would be a little bit better, but it was so salty. Not to mention we payed $60. We didn’t say anything because we aren’t very confrontational when it comes to our food, but I wish we would’ve. We have been sick for 5 days since eating there.. I do not recommend this place.

Got take out from here on Saturday 10/5. Waited 35 minutes for 2 sushi rolls in an almost empty restaurant. But that’s not my problem, my problem was the waitress. As I sat and waited for my food I watched her carry cups of water between her arm and her chest out to table, she was eating in the lobby, playing on her phone, and then not only touching her face but putting her fingers on/in her mouth playing with her bottom lip. After doing all of this I watched as she grabbed plates of food bare handed, not washing nor sanitizing her hands before. Can’t rate my food because after watching all of that I wasn’t going to risk eating raw fish from a restaurant that allowed that kind of cross contamination from their servers.
