This is the second time we have been here. The last time was 7 years ago and we truly missed it. The sushi is so fresh. We have yet to find a better sushi bar in Mississippi!! When have a toddler sipping miso soup you know you’ve got it right!
This is the oldest, longest-running Japanese restaurant in town. They have the expertise and experience that you would not normally find in a small southern city. The food is high quality and menu is highly creative to satisfy the American Southern pallette while still keeping to traditional Japanese-American style.
Food is great, but I'd recommend not getting anything fried to-go. The way it's packaged lends to it not travelling well; fried then placed in a box with other hot food leads to the breading getting steamed off.
