I have eaten here for about 20 years (at their old place and new place). This is the best food ever. I've had the shrimp and catfish too many times to remember. I live about 15 miles from Southern Seafood and go there every chance I have. Outstanding food and service!
The restaurant didn't have open hours posted on it's website (Facebook) but the hours listed in TripAdvisor were until 7 pm. We arrived at 5:15 and there was a line to the door. We got in line and waited 10 minutes only to be told they were out of all seafood except for 1 serving of fried shrimp. The food looked good and we might have tried them again on another visit to Hattiesburg, except for the fact that we went to another seafood restaurant that was out of this...
