Let me preface this review by saying that I really love this Starbucks-- the service and staff are wonderful who work very hard to make sure customers feel welcome. The food and drinks are always great. I am writing this review to bring awareness to recent changes to the atmosphere. There are so few coffee shops in Hattiesburg that are ideal for anyone working. This was the only coffee shop that actually had comfortable seating, was not freezing cold, and had adequate plugs for charging laptops. Today, when I walked in, they replaced the entire wall-length of cozy bench seating and long row of tables with individual lounge chairs and decreased the overall number of tables. The remaining tables are all scattered and disorganized, and no longer close to the wall outlets. There was even a person working in the corner using a baby chair to hold up his laptop....

These changes are so disappointing. Again, this was the only coffee shop that had decent seating for workability, and it was clearly the popular choice for all of us who work remotely at coffee shops. I'm not sure if it's possible to bring back the seating as it was, but I really wish these changes could be reversed. The entire time I sat there today no one sat in the new lounge chairs (minus the guy using the baby chair to hold up his laptop). I hope this review is helpful, and I just wanted to express my sincere sadness for these changes. The space was perfect as it was.

I go between two locations and accidentally ordered to the other one. I told them I would reorder because I didn’t have time to go to the other location and they had me tell them my order so I didn’t have to pay twice. It was so nice and so kind. It was totally my mistake and I was so grateful to be met with such kindness, it made my whole day! (which is why I prefer this location even though it’s farther from my house)
