I've lived in Mississippi for almost 30 years and always avoided this place. It just seemed too old fashioned. Let me tell you, i feel terrible that I've gone to mcdonalds for breakfast and skipped this place for so long. I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It was a real sausage with real eggs and a biscuit that i would be amazed if they don't have an old grandma chained up in the back making them. It's been a very long time since I had a Ward's burger. I can truly say it was well worth it, friendly people, very polite and the burger and fries were FRESH. Stop by and get you one of the chili cheese burger with onions, and fries, and one of those good old lemonades
First time eating here & I was a bit leary about a burger with chili on it but I must admit this was 1 hell of a sandwich folks. And the onion rings were cooked2 perfection & I topped it off with that Strawberry lemonade beverage which was hella great too. I'll definitely stop by again when cruising through the great state of Mississippi and the town of Hattiesburg.
