I got the two piece fish and fries for $5.99. I’m not sure what it was, but it damn show wasn’t fish. I’ve been eating this Captain D’s for a few years and I never really had a bad experience. But today on November 11, 2025, that was not real fish. Fish shouldn’t have the same texture as chicken.

This was my second visit to this store and the second time they didn’t get my order correct. I paid $16.00 for this order only to get home to find out half of the food wasn’t in there. I drove the 17 miles back to this store for them to fix the problem and in the way I decided I didn’t want their food. Whoever the young man was that refunded me my money was extremely nice and we didn’t have any problems. I doubt that I’ll ever go back because of this situation

Terrible, I just want my money back. The shrimp was old, the hush puppies raw in the middle and the cheese sticks were rancid. They were not busy at all and I had to pull off to go inside to get sauces. The cocktail sauce that came out of the fridge was warm, unacceptable.i have called several times and no answer. Corporate is next, Someone is going to end up with food poisoning.

I went through the drive up at the horn lake location. Order# 178 @ 16:31. The food I got was cold! Not warm, but cold. The fried okra was cold, the fish and shrimp cold. Hush puppies were cold. The only thing warm was the corn on the cob. And it was so over cooked it was mush. It should have been thrown in the trash. I can’t believe this is being served at the drive up!
On today my wife and I visited this store to grab us a nice quick dinner only to experience a bad bad communication with the cashier. I ordered a fish sandwich combo, my wife ordered chicken strip combo our fries looked as if they were left over from yesterday and close to burnt so I referenced to cashier and request fresh fries she then took my fries, put some warm fries on top of the ones I complained about and returned them to me. I complained once more she started lip wrestling ( being confrontational) So I took my sandwich and my wife's food and left the store before someone get in some trouble. I also left her the fries on the table.

The absolute worst restaurant i have ever been in. Customer service is at the bottom of the barrel. Two families got up before they got their orders due to the slow service when waiting on the meal to be prepared. I will not recommend this service to my to anyone who wants to get in a slow waiting line at the register and have to wait on the Cook to show how to take the order and receive payment.
