“My first time to visit El Maguey was delightful. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was good. I was with a large group from church, and all the food came out perfectly just as ordered. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I'll be going back!”

“Great BBQ and homemade food! Visited while on a "road trip" thru Memphis and stopped upon a friend recommendation. Was not disappointed! Ordered the Mac N Cue topped with chopped brisket and an order of spare ribs. The Mac n cheese was delicious, and the brisket and ribs were well seasoned and awesome! Service was fast and friendly. Faculties were clean and well staffed. A must place to eat!”

“Let me tell you, I waited way too long to review Crawfish Haven! They’re consistently so good! I am someone who only sometimes likes anything seafood but I’m always willing to eat here. The shrimp and grits is the best my whole family has ever had. My husband almost always tries shrimp and grits anywhere that has it on the menu and Crawfish Haven is always the standard comparison lol Some have come close but in the end no one else compares (this includes out of state travels)! In the past I’ve tried sausage poboy, boudin balls, Cajun shrimp plate, desserts…. It’s all a 10/10. Not to mention their wonderful customer service! Don’t hesitate to try this place out! I guarantee you it’s better than ANY surrounding seafood restaurants, they’re in a league of their own. :)”

“I'm a Latino, and if you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant, this place will not let you down. I had the queso to start and the carnitas (pork) for lunch. It is very well prepared and absolutely delicious. Compared to other establishments, I would label it as authentic Mexican food.The service was great, positive, and quick. I will be recommending this to my friends, and I'll be looking forward to my next visit.”

“Best seafood I've ever had! We were visiting and had a lady we met while waiting to be seated at Applebee's suggest this place when I asked if she knew of a good seafood place. So we left there and went to Lus! Good decision! We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.”

“We went in for lunch today. We arrived just as they opened. We were greeted and seated right away. We both enjoyed our lunch. It was hot and fresh and was served really quickly! I got the chicken chimichonga off the lunch menu. It came with rice and beans and Pico. My husband ordered a 3 chimichonga platter, one steak, one chicken, one shrimp. He was on an hour lunch break from work, and we were served in that time with no problem. It is really cute inside and very clean! We will definitely go back and try some other things! Go in and give them a try! We liked it.”

“We were shocked! This little place does not look like it would be the fabulous experience it was, but looks can sometimes be deceiving! We went online to make reservations. Got there early. There were no customers! Another shock after reading the reviews. But the chef (who may also be the owner) greeted us and showed us to our table that had a "Reserved" sign on it. The only people who came in while we were there were people with take-out orders. Granted, it was cold and rainy. But, really? This place is fantastic! We wanted crab legs and we got a feast! The servers were so helpful and the chef came out and checked on us several times. I ordered my crab legs with just the butter sauce, not with their special Cajun seasoning. After ordering, the server brought out shrimp in their sauce and said she just wanted us to try it. It was amazing. So we changed our order! And the shrimp was great! They were so nice, friendly, and the crab was probably the best we've ever had. Very fresh! And yes, we've had lots from both coasts! I don't know what's wrong with the people in Memphis, but this place would be packed anywhere else, no matter what the weather!!”

“I've eaten here a few times as it's nearby my home and I've been impressed each time. Every time I've gone it was for pick up, and I'm always surprised by the prices. The best deal you can get is one of the hibachi lunches/ dinners which comes with your choice of steak, chicken, shrimp - all three or two of them, for about $15. I've gotten it twice and it's delicious. It also comes with a soup and salad, a huge bed of rice and some tasty vegetables. Honestly you could order one of these plates and split between two people. The service is quick and efficient. Cool decor on the inside too. I would definitely recommend!”

“First time at this place yesterday for dinner. The food was delicious, and margaritas were on point! Very good and not watered down. The best part was our server, Alex. Very nice, courteous young man with a humble attitude. Here's the kicker... a couple behind us were very rude and condescending towards him and complained about everything. Alex just kept his cool and still came back to offer his services and to check back on them. Now that's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Kudos for Alex!! And thank you Alex for the great recommendation of the Molcajete. It was delicious ? plus my son enjoyed his burrito as well.”

“The place had a kind of sports bar feel in some aspects with all the TVs they had set up and the food was hot and fresh. The waitress was awesome and had pretty good suggestions as well.”
