“We had a lovely and delicious dinner last night, our first time dining at Bog & Barley. We thought the atmosphere and decor to be gorgeous and inviting and the service was fantastic. I did find the food a little too salty for my taste, but still extremely edible. I do have one complaint and suggestion about the Rainbow Trout that I ordered; the sauce and roe was served on top of the fish skin and in my opinion, it would have been better skin side down with sauce on the fish itself. The only time I personally would eat fish skin is if it was fried crispy and that is not the case with this dish. I'll be back, but I will probably order something else next time.”

We especially enjoyed the corn ribs, brussels, corn mash, and pork belly. Meat options plentiful but a vegetarian could be very happy here. Also the cocktails. I always want to enjoy a restaurant’s unique cocktails but usually end up disappointed. We loved Thoughts of Mary Jane (tequila base), Walk on By (a couple of tequilas and yellow chartreuse as primary notes), and a black Manhattan type concoction (name forgotten), with navy strength rum, rye, and other warm notes. Our server was great with the recommendations and keeping our time frame, needing to be put in time for a grizzlies game. All in all, a revelation. Hope this place stands the test of time. Only minor beef: so many ingredients I couldn’t identify. Makes you feel a little foolish when you need to ask about one or more ingredients from every dish or cocktail. Hopefully I learned a thing or two. Oh and remember, eat the corn but not the corn ribs. lol”

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.”

“Ms. Therese saved the day. We were taking a trip to Nashville then Memphis for my daughter's 16th birthday. We live in Texas! She asked me if she could at least have some cake on her birthday? So I googled bakeries in Memphis. Ms. Therese was the only one that responded to me. It was only 6 days notice, but she said she would do it. The cake was perfect. She did a great job and it tasted soooo wonderful. This lady is an angel for helping me last minute, and she is so sweet and friendly! Loved meeting her.”

“After traveling and enjoying fine Italian food I came back to Memphis with a craving of gnocchi.. quick google search brought me here !! And I’m so glad it did !! The fried green tomatoes and cornbread were delicious apps to start off !! A few mixed drinks and a glass of wine soothed the mood . The Gnocchi did not disappoint and the “ blue crab “ spaghetti was a pleasant surprise!! But the desert!!! The CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ….Let me be clear … BEST DESERT IN ALL MY TRAVELS !! Cannot recommend Andrew Michael’s enough”

Please let me tell you the night crew did the damn thing. I have had four double Patty melts at this location and last night was the best one I give them a 1000 out of 10 seriously! I didn’t get to try the Raspberry Cupcake or Biscoff Cheesecake because my kids and their daddy got to them first (they clearly approved 😂). Looking forward to trying those next time. Definitely worth the visit!”

There are some new items on the menu, too. We tried the strawberry shortcake last night. The kindness of the hostesses, knowledge and care of the servers and the FOOD last night solidified are selection for Folk’s as our choice for a premier steakhouse dining experience.”

“We have dined at Flemings Las Vegas numerous times over the past years (15+ ago) so we were excited to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary at Flemings Memphis. We were greeted by the host staff and shown to our table, including a small place card celebrating our anniversary. Our server, Kimberly, was phenomenal!! Atmosphere was lovely as expected. We ordered a bottle of wine, 6 oysters on the half shell, wedge salad, lobster bisque, scallops, king crab and two sharable sides. Everything was great except.....the scallops were quite small. I mean, no more a single bite each, and a not a big bite or mouthful. But maybe a silver dollar size each. They literally got lost in the dish/bowl amongst the mushrooms, and greens. The small size affected the cook as they were slightly over done (I have eaten plenty of scallops so I understand what the appropriate texture is). My wife throughly enjoyed her king crab but I was disappointed in my scallops, making my experience far less then expected and as experienced from Flemings Las Vegas. I do understand that there may have been a "supplier issue", having worked in the food industry for years, but serving a substandard (IMO) dish is far worse then telling a customer that a dish isn't available due to "ingredient quality issues". I did mention the portion concerns to the restaurant management to which they apologized but the truth is, the "damage" was done. All in all, the experience was OK, highlighted by the awesome wait staff, including others that assisted Kimberly!! We will probably visit Flemings Memphis again the future, but I doubt I will order the scallops (a favorite of mine) again.”

And the stuffed baked potato was ginormous. My husband ordered the baby back ribs. And they were cooked to perfection. They did not fall off the bone, thankfully. They had a nice bite. And the sauce was delicious. My mom had the Cajun trout. She said it was full of bones, unfortunately. The lighting was very dim in the restaurant and she couldn’t tell what she was eating. So she had to pack it up and bring it home. Although she did say what little fish she got to eat was tasty. The southern coleslaw was tasteless and a disappointment. I had the Ahi tuna salad. I asked for dressing on the side. When it came, there was a huge mound of lettuce. I did see the ahi and the big half of avocado on top of the lettuce. But about a third into my salad, I finally discovered wasabi, the wonton crisps, and the pickled ginger. It was not a good way to present the salad. At all. The ahi was prepared perfectly, and it tasted great with the dressing, ginger, avocado and wasabi. Just wished I discovered the latter sooner! The complementary birthday carrot cake was super moist and delicious. Overall, we had a great time at the restaurant.”
