I'm not from here, and didn't know what to get, the waitress gave me several suggestions and even helped me get the portion size just right! The waitresses gave me samples of the drinks and I HAD to get the strawberry, so delicious! I ended up getting the birria tacos and they are phenomenal. I will absolutely be returning to Chukis next time I'm visiting Memphis!”

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.”

“I took my wife to dinner at The Lobbyist for her birthday. What a delightful treat this restaurant was! We were so impressed with the service, attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food. The food was delicious!! We split the Focaccia Board, Corn Mash, Belly, and the Teres Major. The flavors of the Focaccia, corn mash and belly were incredible! The Teres Major was cooked beautifully to an actual medium rare and was salted to perfection.

The only critique is that the patrons at the bar were very loud.

“This is the 1st time my drink wasn't good. I get the same one every time I go, but this one was not good at all. The service was still good, and the atmosphere was good. All in all, I'll give it 4 stars ?. We got the redlands salads with grilled chicken to eat.”

“A great addition to Cooper-Young with a really good happy hour. One of the best Manhattan’s I’ve had in Memphis. The menu can be a bit on the pricier side than more casual spots, but it’s well worth it. The chicken is incredible as well as the short rib.”

The fried green tomatoes and cornbread were delicious apps to start off !! A few mixed drinks and a glass of wine soothed the mood . The Gnocchi did not disappoint and the “ blue crab “ spaghetti was a pleasant surprise!! But the desert!!! The CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ….Let me be clear … BEST DESERT IN ALL MY TRAVELS !! Everything was grilled/cooked beautifully with a perfect amount of spice and flavor. The Kibbeh was beyond delicious! It was like 24-26, kinda steep but worth it 8-10 on Flavor 7-10 on price ... but then they were combos so it's gonna be high”

“For the hungry and want it fast crowd this place will do the job. Mostly Chinese dishes with some American thrown in. Most of their business is take out but they have seating for 32. We showed up about 1 ish and we were the only ones eating in but saw a steady stream of phone in orders being picked up. My partner got the chicken fried rice and I agreed with her it should have had more chicken in it. I selected the steak and shrimp sub and the meat was ground up, not hamburger but certainly not sirloin. Few shrimp in it. On the edge of Tiger Town for what it is, it’s not bad.
