“My 1st Time at Wally Hatchets, as soon as I walked in I was greeted. I was served by Shannon C who is friendly, polite, professional, courteous, and has a GREAT sense of humor, so make sure to ask for Shannon C. The decorations on the Wall and elsewhere is Cool and Funky. The whole Menu has good selections. I ordered the Steak Burger with Mushrooms, Onions and Gravy, Eggs with Coffee that is delicious. I ordered the Catfish with Coleslaw and Onion Rings to go. Overall GREAT Experience !... A MUST GO when visiting Memphis, TN.“

“I don't stay in the area but when I'm passing by this place i'm always curious how the food taste. Well today while in the area I decided to try them out & i'm glad I did. I went in & got a menu & was blown away at all the options they had to choose from.. so i decided on the hibachi, party wings, & fries. Some will probably say its pricey seeing that the fries & drink aren't included and sold separately but the portions & the quality of the food is worth every penny spent 🔥😋 Top Tier. I will definitely be going back & trying the fish next time. I was not disappointed. Mr. Cook has gained a new customer. Wait time? What Wait time? Thats how quick the service was! They're definitely living up to their name!!!“

“My husband, mother-in-law, and I were searching for a breakfast spot and had already struck out at two places that were closed. This was our last stop before we decided to give up, and we’re so glad we didn’t!

When we walked in, we were greeted and told to sit anywhere. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and pleasantly quiet. Our waitress, Brianna, was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service.

I ordered the Kick’n Chick’n Freedom Sliders with tots, my husband had the Country Breakfast, and my mother-in-law ordered an omelet with a side of pancakes. All of our food arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was.

This place turned out to be a hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“The place was truly hopping on this Saturday morning, Feb. 14. All waitresses were clearly working their hardest to keep customers happy and the food delivered in s timely manner.
I left for the bathroom thinking it would be at least 10 min before our food would be ready. According to my hubby, it came just after I departed. A few minutes after I returned, the manager handed me a nice hot replacement plate of food. How thoughtful!
I had fresh fruit crepes with eggs, bacon, &hash browns, my husband the sirloin tip breakfast combo. I had this same choice at another Ihop where the fresh fruit was a few pieces of strawberries. This time it had blueberries and strawberries in plentiful supply.“

The sandwich was different from Phillies I've had in Chicago but delicious and the seasoned fried will keep me coming back on future trips to Memphis. Polite service. Parking available. A few tables and chairs if you want to eat inside. So glad we tried this place.“

The one on Walnut I Door Dash for lunch last week and had a double sliders combo for the first time - it was delicious - sandwiches were made as I ordered. I was really impressed! the only the wrong was i ordered carrot cake & got lemon cake instead I don't care for. someone should have called to give me other choices. Today I skipped going to Southaven (who's customer service was excellent) to go back to the Walnut which is 9 minutes from me - bad choice. I ordered online & got my food to come home. should've checked it first - will do IF I go back to that location. got sliders combo will all I had the last time just left cheese off. The patty wasn't half as thick as the one patty I had on the delivered order. I didn't get my grilled onions. I had to open the sandwiches to see if a slice of tomato or lettuce on each - may have been a thin 1/3 of a slixe of tomato on each. I don't even know how to describe the lettuce. The German chocolate cake - deeelicious! I will support again, but service should be the same at all the stores. I know to check my orders even though Southaven shows their customers the order before bagging it. I shouldn't ha e to drive out there when one is closer.Oh your onion rings are the BEST at both locations! And the salmon sandwich - best I've had! I plan to try more on your menu.“

Being the dainty lady I am eith absolutely no shame in my game I ordered a 10pc lemon pepper wing and when I opened that box and saw tips on my big wings not wingettes I damned near cried cuz that's when I knew I was about throw down lol. Oh yeah, I ordered a sweet tea, it was gone before I ate my breakfast sandwich and my son's strawberry milkshake that had strawberries in it along with his wings were gone in like 10 minutes. From DC, currently living iin Houston and this type of food was needed big bad. Thank you Dixie Queen! Thank you Memphis! We will be back!!!!“

“I drove way across town to try this food after my friend try how good it was. I order the rib tip fried rice. Yall, I can't describe all the flavor that loaded into your mouth with every fork. YOU will have to experience it for yourself. Yes, the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Don't take my word for it go and find out. My wife ordered their strawberry salad with chicken w/strawberry vinaigrette and she raved about how delicious it was. Best salad she has ever had. I went with the traditional angus burger with fries. It comes with a spicy mayo bacon jam bacon etc on a brioche bun that was soft and perfect for this absolutely amazing burger! It certainly moved into my top 5 burgers in Memphis. Cooked medium this sandwich exploded with flavor and was amazing. Even the fries fresh cut fried and seasoned were delicious. My summer camp dined here for lunch and the food was delicious and the service was the best.Hayley, the manager, was so flexible and organized that it made our entire experience even better. “We were passing through Elvis Presley Blvd in Memphis (obvious tourists from the north) and just stopped for a quick bite on the way to another attraction. Knowing nothing about the place or any expectations. The service was wonderfully fast and the fish burgers we ordered were cooked/wrapped/served properly. The guys inside were great and the owner lady is amazing! She even gave us recommendations and a whole list of museums to visit! Amazing people - beautiful town!“

“Food was amazing and Rochelle (front counter) was so delightful. I got the pancake with eggs & sausage, and that was only $8! The whole thing with tax was less than $10; you just can’t beat it. Add to that the T A S T E and this place is a winner: the pancake was airy and buttery, the scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the sausage was savory. Delicious!

Plus, their full menu is available all day, so you can have a burger for breakfast or a pancake for dinner. Note that everything is cooked to order, so expect a 10-min wait at the front counter unless you call ahead and order (which I recommend).“
