“Great food (best ribs we have ever had) and the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta had more shrimp, and outlet, and chicken and any other variant of this I have had (and was with a tomato base and not Alfredo) . The house band, The BB King All Stars were amazing to listen to. $10 cover to get in but we'll worth it for the food and music.“

“Definitely my favorite food on Beale Street. Probably gonna see the best bands on Beale also. Definitely not cookie cutter like some of the other live music venues. Best catfish and best ribs on Beale. Not to mention the tamales are pretty good. Oh, don’t forget to just say screw it and eat dessert. They are also! Bread pudding.“

“I'm a former memphian living in north central Arkansas. I haven't had good Memphis barbecue in a while. I had a friend travel to Memphis a few days ago and I told him to make sure and go get two slabs of ribs at cozy corner. he brought me one back. my goodness. it's amazing how good Memphis barbecue really is. from pros like y'all. we will be getting more every time he has to come to town. “Sure, Rendezvous gets a lot of attention as the tourist spot, and The BBQ Shop is a solid second place, but when it comes to pure flavor and consistency, Central BBQ stands at the top. Everything here is done right, and the quality speaks for itself. If you want the best barbecue in Memphis and accept no substitutions, Central BBQ is it.“

“O-M- GEE! I ordered the ox tails with jollof rice and when it was delivered, it was still hot like it had just been placed in the container! well seasoned, meat so tender it melts in your mouth, and the rice was delicious as well! I had to call a friend and send her a pic! LOL! 10/10“

“Super delicious food! Generous serving sizes as well. We were thrilled with our orders. The party wings, pulled pork, rib tips were ON POINT! Ordering process was quick and order was ready in a timely fashion. I can't decide on a favorite because everything was scrumptious! I think I will work my way through Reese's BBQ menu. “Food was incredible, our server was great, wish I remembered her name, but she was great, and the atmosphere was awesome, great music playingnas we ate. They do add an automatic 20% gratuity to the check but it's well worth it. I highly recommend the freedom toast (French toast)“

“The Lunch Special has changed to the Rayford's Special. The price of the Special has increased and it does not come with dressing. If you would like ranch or blue cheese with your wings expect to pay extra. However, the chicken is still good. The service is mediocre. The fish is good. Be prepared to have your own hotsauce. They didn't have hotsauce packets for the fish. The cashier let me know I would have to pay extra if I wanted hotsauce in a cup even though they didn't have any. I paid extra because --how can you eat fish without hotsauce?“

“Bar bq pulled pork sandwiches with fries, beans, and potatoe salad was really good. I also got a pound of tip tips, dry seasoning with bbq sauce on the tip. All good tips, no hard dry pieces. A must try!!! Please bring back the CAKE! CARAMEL, STRAWBERRY, LEMON AND CHOCOLATE!“
