“It was nice and quiet this Sunday. My husband surprised me by getting a chitalin bowl. It was a small buffet of soul food. My husband said it wAs like Piccadilly's. However, it was smaller than a Picadillys. It was a little pricey in my opinion. We spent around $50 for two people. The gentleman serving us took his time. Another man was around cleaning the place. On second thought, the food was really good once I got it home and ate the whole meal. The outcome was better than the immediate interaction.“

“Despite some lukewarm reviews for the brisket, I decided to get some for my anniversary. Ordered some takeout along with the pork rolls that my wife loves. She and I were crazy about the brisket, tender and juicy. Will definitely order it again. BTW, I liked the atmosphere of the dining area. I believe we have a local BBQ place that Memphis folks would want to make the drive for.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. My family and I visited for the first time this weekend and the food was absolutely amazing and the service/hospitality was top notch. Kelvin, Alexis and Guy took great care of us and they deserve all the praise in the world. That smoked turkey leg was one of the best things I’ve ever had. We will most definitely be back soon!“
