“Just a short 10 min detour off the I-40 on the way to Nashville from Memphis….but so glad we made it!Had done my research and had heard and seen lots of good things about Helen’s before my roadtrip. It did not dissapoint.Been trying a few different BBQ spots across Texas and Tennessee as part of this trip and Helen’s blew the others out the water.Had half rack of ribs and the Helen special sandwich.Absolutley stunning flavours and textures.And such a welcoming spot.Be sure to check her and her incredible food out!“
“We were there due to a transit from Nashville to Memphis. We came across this restaurant thanks to some very positive reviews. Everything tasted ok, nothing really stood out. But meat quality is quite good. The portions are large. Staff not unfriendly but not really accommodating either. Everything seems pretty unclean. The lemonade was way too sweet. Parking lots available. Price performance great. In my opinion the entire meal should have had more flavor. It seems to be popular in the town itself. The drive in was constantly busy. We were alone in the restaurant itself. Can be done, does not have to be.“
“They have the best ribs in town. I really love this place and their food they do change the potato salad and coleslaw. It's always different when I come it's not bad but it's just different every time. The only thing that I have to say badly is every time I want to eat here they're never open.Lol but it's a really great barbecue joint. Their ribs are my favorite they fall off the bone.“
“Driving home to Arkansas we just happened to find them by chance.We looked over the menu and it was hard to just choose one dinner. It was food love at first but. We can not express how wonderful it was. If you don't treat yourself to this you will be punishing yourself. The staff is outstanding the food incredible and the atmosphere is like being in your own dinning room at home. Do yourself a favor and make the stop. You'll thank yourself.....Frank C.Arkansas“
