“Our table of four dined on a Saturday night and all loved our meals. One had the soup of the day ( potato leek), two of us had wedges, and one had the house salad. We were so pleased that the salads were all appropriatly plentiful and fresh, but not so big we could not enjoy our entrees. As main dishes we had a variety of offerings including hallibut, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and sea bass. All were delicious and we would happily order them again. We skipped desserts on this visit, but I've had the yummy coconut cake before, and it is always a temptation. Attentive service and honest suggestions from the wait staff were especially appreciated. Great evening.“

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

“I went for lunch on a Wednesday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server promptly attended the table. We ordered smoked salmon dip as an appetizer and it was ok. For entrees we had a salmon ceasar salad and prime rib. My business partner is new to the Memphis area nad he said it was the best prime rib he'd ever had. The salmon was also good as it eas grilled. I wasn't asked but the salmon was also well done so if you have a preference, probably need to let them know. As we left, the hostess held the door which is something I recall being done at previous visits. I would recommend to friends.“

The worst thing about Hernando's Hideaway is having to leave when the party is over. Every time I have been to The Hideaway, it is an escape to another era.“

“The best steak dinner in Memphis!! We usually get the strip to go(ribeye when we eat inhouse)and it is ALWAYS so good. Cooked as ordered(we like med rare) and the sides are just as good, Chefs vegetable is always fresh, garlic mashed potatoes are awesome and I love the baked potatoes. There is cute outdoor courtyard seating area and a separate bar area attached that is open late. Midtown hidden gem!“

“Once again, I had a taste for some lamb. Went this time on a Wednesday night and I asked for my usual. They didn't have the same sides as they do on Saturday. But the Owner suggested Grilled rice & fried okra. It was amazing. I did notice everyone who pulled up was ordering this Strawberry Hennessey drink. I will try that my next visit. I left a small tip and the Owner seem some appreciative. If you're in the Frayser area stop by and get you a plate of Tender lamb Chops.“

“After finally getting a chance to grab a bite to eat at this place I was blown away by how delicious everything was. My wife ordered their strawberry salad with chicken w/strawberry vinaigrette and she raved about how delicious it was. Best salad she has ever had. I went with the traditional angus burger with fries. It comes with a spicy mayo bacon jam bacon etc on a brioche bun that was soft and perfect for this absolutely amazing burger! It certainly moved into my top 5 burgers in Memphis. Cooked medium this sandwich exploded with flavor and was amazing. Even the fries fresh cut fried and seasoned were delicious. This place is great and can’t wait to go back for breakfast soon! Perch 74 well done!👏🏻“

“Visited Flying Saucer Draught Emporium at the Peabody Place location in Memphis with two coworkers and left with mixed but mostly positive impressions.

I ordered the Whiskey Burger without bacon, and the whiskey cheddar came through nicely while the blackberry compote was subtle, more of a background sweetness than a bold flavor. The patty itself was cooked well and the bun held up.

My only real complaint was the hand punched fries, which came out soggy and lacked the crispness I was hoping for.

One coworker ordered the Sputnik Monroe with a side of rocket tots and felt similarly let down by the tots, so between the two of us the sides were the weak point of the meal.
The other coworker went with the Big Dipper and hand punched fries and seemed satisfied with the pick.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at this spot is hard to beat. The ceiling covered in bottle caps and the checkered floor give it a fun, lived in bar feel, and the service throughout our visit was attentive and friendly with no complaints there.
Between the strong burger, good service, and great atmosphere against the disappointing fries, I would still recommend Flying Saucer for a casual bite and a beer, just maybe skip the fries and try the tots or another side instead.“

“Had so much fun on Friday the 3rd we came back on the 4th as well. Our first trip to Beale st and loved it. Food was awesome and came out quick. Shout out to Maddie who took awesome care of us. That gal will hustle and is fun. When we came back Saturday and saw her again it was a no brainer and asked for her section. Yep made another great night. The live music was great they play great and engaged the crowd. Couldn’t have been better guys Our trip was just to see Memphis and Beale street in particular and it was a huge success. Next trip and Silky O’Sullivans is top of our list of must do items.“

“I hope I’m leaving the review for the right place. It’s been several years since I was in Memphis. Stopped in here because the sign said best Pizza in Memphis. Sat at the bar with the other patrons and the atmosphere was great. Owner came out and told me about his club across the street. And of course I had to try the pizza. The pizza took a while to cook, but it was worth it. Crust to crust covered in cheese and toppings.

If I find myself back in Memphis, this will be one of must visit spots. Anytime someone says they are going to Memphis, I tell them to go to the restaurant across the street from the green and yellow club.“
