The food, atmosphere and hospitality were phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed their soul food. If I ever make it back to Memphis, I will definitely eat here again. The food was absolutely amazing.
I can’t brag about this place enough. I don’t know how there is not a line out the door. Chef Chris is amazing. Everything we had was delicious. I will be out here to eat at Sage every time I’m in Memphis.

Sage Restaurant continues to impress with its delicious food and inviting atmosphere. The egg rolls with mac, chicken, and greens, as well as the fried fish and wings, are standout dishes. The Pinot Grigio remains a local favorite. The ambiance is enhanced by the beautiful decor, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The NY strip steak, chicken salad sandwich, and housemade hummus are consistently praised by customers. Recent visitors enjoyed the hard fried catfish and chips, noting the catfish was golden and crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The fish and grits received a 10/10, described as seasoned very well and crispy with a great sauce. The strawberry cheesecakes French toast was also a hit. The owner was seen serving food and cleaning tables, showing good management. While there was a wait for a table, the atmosphere was good and the food was awesome. Sage does upscale comfort food the right way, and the service is attentive, with staff providing helpful recommendations. Chef Chris is recognized for his amazing cooking, and many guests express their desire to return on their next visit to Memphis.
