Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

The buttery tender filets are our go to meals.. perfectly seasoned, seared and cooked to temperature. I personally love the sweet mash as a side but they are all good. There are some new items on the menu, too. We tried the strawberry shortcake last night. The kindness of the hostesses, knowledge and care of the servers and the FOOD last night solidified are selection for Folk’s as our choice for a premier steakhouse dining experience.“

Sometimes they cook with old grease and that has been my experience. The old man died that really cared about his customers. Whoever has it now is just there to make money. “Had so much fun on Friday the 3rd we came back on the 4th as well. Our first trip to Beale st and loved it. Food was awesome and came out quick. Shout out to Maddie who took awesome care of us. That gal will hustle and is fun. When we came back Saturday and saw her again it was a no brainer and asked for her section. Yep made another great night. The live music was great they play great and engaged the crowd. Couldn’t have been better guys Our trip was just to see Memphis and Beale street in particular and it was a huge success. Next trip and Silky O’Sullivans is top of our list of must do items.“

“I went for lunch on a Wednesday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server promptly attended the table. We ordered smoked salmon dip as an appetizer and it was ok. For entrees we had a salmon ceasar salad and prime rib. My business partner is new to the Memphis area nad he said it was the best prime rib he'd ever had. The salmon was also good as it eas grilled. I wasn't asked but the salmon was also well done so if you have a preference, probably need to let them know. As we left, the hostess held the door which is something I recall being done at previous visits. I would recommend to friends.“

Cook/front register person still remained nice and attentive. Prices are avg. 3 pc wing, fries = 12.00. three pc catfish fries = 14.00. food hot, fresh, tasty! Sodas $1.00. sweets in the fridge too. “Usually everything in Hollywood fish market is good, I love the fish, always cooked right, crispy and not greasy. Today somebody went heavy on the grease, greasy cabbage and the corn bread, grease too heavy on the fish; my favorite was dripping grease and to top it off for my first bad experience there, the young lady at the register, and she was also the bagger, bagged candied sweet potatoes instead of my favorite Mac and cheese. I was disappointed when I got home to eat; soggy and greasy and to top it off no Mac and cheese. I might give them another chance, I mean you're entitled to one bad day.“
