My guest and I both had shrimp and grits which was delicious. I would have preferred less “sauce”, however. The focaccia bread was awesome, as always. Service was great.
We dine at Amerigo every week. It is always the same. Good food, excellent service, great cocktails and at a good price. Try the pizza! It is soooo good. Try the Chicken Acuto, black beans, peppers, corn salsa with a perfectly grilled chicken breast. Don't forget the Key Lime Pie. Ask for Kevin as your server, you'll love him.
The kids food was good. They enjoyed their pizza and chicken tenders and fries. My wife enjoyed her salad. I was somewhat disappointed with my cedar plank fish with veggies and mashed potatoes. I feel like it used to be much better back in the day. I didn't think the overall place was bad but it also wasn't great. The atmosphere for lunch on a Sunday wasn't all that great.
