Amerigo is a great Italian restaurant for families. My one complaint is the tip is automatically added to the total bill on top of the tax which makes it even higher than standard 20%. I always tip well relative to the service, but it’s irritating to be given no choice.I understand it’s standard for large parties, but our most recent dinner was 3 adults & 2 little kiddos. Not cool.

We love to sit at a table in the bar to have Angela wait on us. She is amazing, remembers your name and your drink. She'll tell you her fav items, I always go with what she recommends and I'm never disappointed.

The crab cakes were okay but would have been better if they were served hot. Restaurant had just opened so I am sure they have corrected that

Solid local Italian restaurant. We went as a large group and enjoyed the food. We ordered:1. Free bread - this was delicious. (5/5 ?)2. Calamari - this was prepped well and was cooked perfectly. The side dipping sauces were also very tasty. (5/5 ?)3. Cheese fritters - these were like a delicious extra cheesy biscuit. (5/5 ?)4. Chicken Piccata - a little heavy on the salt, but overall, it's a good dish. (4.5/5 ?)If I lived locally, I would return and try other dishes.

My boyfriend and I REALLY enjoyed this restaurant. The service from the minute you walk through the door is amazing and welcoming. Our waitress, Lisa, was so patient and helpful. The food was IMMACULATE…They really know how business is done!!! Highly recommend!

Disappointed that an Italian restaurant did not get Italian food right at Valentine's Day lunch. Waitress did not know what a negroni is. Mushroom ravioli itself was good but was swimming in a bland parmesan cream sauce. It needs more than sage, guys. Parsley, garlic, a dash of fresh nutmeg, thyme - anything to brighten that heaviness. Give it a taste before serving. The menu says spinach and chili flake - where? My husband's pasta pomodoro was balanced and delicious. Bread and herbed olive oil were on point. I always have high hopes for Tiramisu but sadly IT WAS NOT TIRAMISU. It was cake - no ladyfingers or hint of espresso or rum. It was also cold instead of room temperature. Just say Tiramisu-style cake.

Good food. Outstanding service. Took my wife here to celebrate. The only thing was that we tried to use a gift card that a friend had given us as a gift but they told us the card was empty. I don't know who made the mistake. I only mention it in case someone else had it happen.

This is my favorite restaurant with two of my favorite meals, the seafood pasta and the lasagna and Caesar salad. We eat there often. We love it so much that we with no reservations made this our valentines stop.

Very professional dining experience. The ambience of this establishment isn't even comparable to most modern dine in restaurants. The flavor is always great, the drink/wine menu pairs great with their options, and the service is always great. The combination of railings, columns, and benches break up the seating so that each table feels like it's own isolated seating. We've visited around 8 times now and each time the volume has been very mild or tolerable, the attention to detail and value for the cost will cement this as a stop on our travels to/through Memphis.
