“If you are looking for a cozy little Italian place with good food, check out Cocozza on Harbor Town! Amazing food and atmosphere! We had the garlic bread, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, and cheesecake. All delicious! Maybe the best cheesecake I’ve had.I feel like we don’t have a lot of great Italian places in Memphis. Definitely worth checking out.“
“where do I start? ?the service is chefs kiss ?- I’ve always had amazing servers who try to make our experience special.✨I could write a love song aboutthe wedge salad. I get it every time.✨I dream about the thunderbird pizza. (also, all the pizzas can come gluten free! big win) It’s slightly spicy and sweet.✨I wish I could swim in the espresso martini.. I think it's the best one in Memphis. they have a revolving drink menu and I've never tried one I didn't like.my only complaint is it's a little loud in the center of the room so it's hard to hear if you're sitting at a large table.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We stopped in for dinner after a less than stellar meal at another restaurant. First, the menu is incredible and executed to perfection, with care and discipline. Second, Marvin is a professional-class server; he treats every table as if it were his only one. Third, the front desk manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome on our celebration evening. If you've read Guidara's 'Unreasonable Hospitality' and wondered where to find it in Memphis, it's here.“
“I usually order the pizzas. Love their pizzas! Decided to try something different today. I had the calzone, not a fan! I'll stick with their pizza. If you love cheese you'll love the calzone. It's FILLED with cheese. Could have had a few more toppings to balance it out but all of the topping are extra.“
“I had a group of 14 that wanted a nice dining experience before we went to a concert that started at 7:00. The chef/owner, Morti, called me back immediately when I left a message on the reservation line and said that the best way to meet our time schedule was for everybody to go online and make their menus selection for me to text to him which I did. When we arrived, the table was beautifully set for 14 and our waitress was waiting for us to take our drink orders. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and everything was absolutely wonderful! I can personally vouch for the veal piccata which five of us had and it was excellent! She gave us separate checks as we requested and, after a wonderful meal and nice conversation, we had plenty of time to go to our next event. This is truly a secret gym in East Memphis in Brookhaven Circle with a wonderful atmosphere with nice music in the background, but not so loud that you can't have a good conversation. I highly recommend Marciano's for a special night out!“
“Had a great time! Visiting from out of state with 4 kids. Didn't take long for us to get a spot and were completely blown away when our awesome server Nick (hope you get a lot of credit for this. You deserve it!) and his coworkers started to bring out small batches of dough for the kids to play with! Wonderful customer service touch. We also take pride in being self diagnosed pizza snobs...we loved the pepperoni quality, crispy crust, and fresh basil. Sadly we messed up not taking pictures. You can blame the kids.We will be back anytime we visit Memphis, Midtown. It's nice to feel at home, away from home.Kid-friendliness: They give kids dough to play with at the table. Neat touch.“
“Solid local Italian restaurant. We went as a large group and enjoyed the food. We ordered:1. Free bread - this was delicious. (5/5 ?)2. Calamari - this was prepped well and was cooked perfectly. The side dipping sauces were also very tasty. (5/5 ?)3. Cheese fritters - these were like a delicious extra cheesy biscuit. (5/5 ?)4. Chicken Piccata - a little heavy on the salt, but overall, it's a good dish. (4.5/5 ?)If I lived locally, I would return and try other dishes.“
“Ciao Bella has to be 1 of my favorite restaurants in Memphis! Every dish I've had has been absolutely delicious! I try to save food to take home every time, but it never makes it! The service is amazing and I love how they designed the new restaurant! It's elegant but still very much inviting. I like to think of Ciao bella as my little well-known secret that I don't like sharing.“
“We absolutely love this place! My husband proposed to me here, so it has a very special place in our hearts ?. The food is amazing! I've had the Chicken Marco Polo many times and it never disappoints. Great drink options and the service is always top notch whether you sit in the dining room or at the bar!“
“We tried the Pesto Alfredo with Shrimp (needed extra sauce), Lasagna, and the Half and Half (Ravioli and spaghetti). Everything was huge portions and tasted delicious. Warning: this is old fashioned Italian meat sauce that some refer to as a gravy, not your standard American spaghetti sauce.“
“The Walker Avenue location hosted our church basketball team’s pizza party and did a PHENOMENAL job. The staff was very accommodating of our large group and provided us with everything we needed. The food was delicious and we will definitely look to them for future group events!“
“A pleasant discovery! Being Italian I came to this restaurant with low expectations, mainly because my children wanted pasta, but instead I left satisfied. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious as were the other dishes tried. The pasta was perhaps a little too seasoned for Italian taste, but it was still well executed. Only the tiramisu was disappointing, having nothing to do with the Italian original.Kid-friendliness: There is no children's menu, but I got a whole portion of pasta which I divided for my children“
“Loved it all!!! Tiffany our server was excellent. She really got to know us and was super friendly. The food outstanding. Definitely one of the better places I have eaten ever!Dont confuse this place with Frank Grisanti’sWhich we tried it was HORRIBLE!“
“My wife and I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is great, the bar is excellent, there are NO bad items on the menu, we promise. It is a tad loud inside. They would do well to add some acoustical treatments. It seems like a shouting match some nights, lol.“
“Amazing food and amazing customer service. I've gone in there two weeks in a row now, and the 2 guys working there, Dwayne and Ken, are always incredibly friendly, talkative, and funny. They move quickly and make great sandwiches. The sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had, and for the amount of meat and toppings you get, the price is very competitive.“
“Found this little gem while I was in town for business. The lunch special was excellent. Good size portions and favor was spot on. The outside is nothing to look at and the neighborhood might be a bit sketchy but I'm glad I ignored that and went inside. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed.“
“Absolutely stellar pizza spot! From the mouthwatering aroma that greets you at the door to the perfect blend of cheese and sauce on every slice, this place is a true gem. The friendly staff adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. A must-try for any pizza enthusiast!“
“Tamboli's hands down has the best pizza and pasta in Memphis. Vick did an excellent job serving my friends and I. Her personality was lovely and positive. She recommended great food items of us to try. We ended up ordering the Bavette Steak, Cheesy Garlic Sticks , Bruschetta, Dancing Pigs BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Lemon Pepper Fettuccine with Chicken. All of it was delicious. I love the fact that Tamboli's pasta and pizza is handmade. The atmosphere was pleasant, it wasn't too loud. You couldn't hear the next tables voices which I liked. The down fall was parking on the street. I wish they had a better parking system just to be safe leaving and coming to the restaurant.“
“Ordered a muffuletta they didn’t have the meats ? so ordered the Italian hoagie and tomato basil soup. Both were very good. Bought some take out meals but haven’t tried yet will update post when I do. Very interesting place with lots of good looking take out meals. I’ll definitely be back I still want to try the muffuletta! Hopefully they’ll be prepared when I do.I did think the ordering process was awkward. There’s a check out counter but you go over to another area and look over a tall stand through a narrow space to place your order then go to the checkout counter to pay.“
“Visited here 2/23/24. Good customer service. The guys that came to my car was very nice. Ok with the food...bussing bussing. I got the fried catfish and fries with the honey hot sauce and my husband got the fish sampler with honey hot sauce? hands down its the best fish in the city. Brain food so on point. Give them a try, they will not disappoint you! The location look a lil sketchy because its in the Alley cut but I promise you its not what u think. Great food! Thank you!brain food I will be back.“
“Great customer service... When I call in my order I'm always greeted with a nice voice on the other end very friendly and when I arrive for my order it's always on points. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my salad plus the customer service is excellent. Briana is the best.“
“Wine was good. Server knew it and didn't miss. The pasta garlic dish my gf got was super salty. It just wasn't flavorful. The zucchini fried app thing with goat cheese was amazing! I think we may have just ordered the wrong thing. Also the atmosphere seems odd. It's a white room. That's it. But whatever. The price is right. The wine is good. Enjoy yourself“
“I ordered online to pick up, I live over 30 minutes away but it's definitely worth it. Ordered 3 large pizzas, all 3 the pizza maker(s) did a great job generously applying the various toppings. Also in orders 2 orders of wings, one honey bbq and 1 mild. The honey bbq was fine, nothing really to write home about but not was a nice thick sauce, not runny or anything. Now the mild, that was a really well done Buffalo sauce. I walked in, gave my name, the cashier got my food (I had paid on the website) and I was right back out the door and headed back on the road for the 30+ minute drive home. Everyone was quite happy with this dinner and I will definitely visit this location again!! As far as inside seating it looks like there's just a few tables so it's not really designed to be an est in place more of a take away.“
“Delicious foods mouth watering drinks. We order the Memphis pizza garlic knots. While you wait on your foods, my children played with pizza dough until the foods arrive. How cool!!!Kid-friendliness: Children play with pizza dough to keep business“
“I always order take-out so I can't comment on atmosphere. I enjoy the food. The portion sizes are more than adequate and the prices are very reasonable. $18-$24 for food of this quality compared to fast food places around $12... no contest. OG is my fast food replacement. ?“
“Little Italy Downtown is the go-to pizza place in Memphis for me. The test is whether a plain cheese pizza is good, and Little Italy's plain has the perfect flavor and cheesiness which reminds me of New York pizza. Pizzas with toppings are excellent as well. Little Italy Downtown isn't great for dining in - there aren't a lot of tables, it's best if lunch or a quick dinner. Still, a slice of pizza and a can of soda are only about $8, it's the best lunch you can get at that price.“
“These people are amazing!! I had called one day to make sure they were still open and to make sure of the location and did you know that before they closed down they texted me to make sure that I had made it and that they had served me before they left. Customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me. Also the snow cone flavors are phenomenal !“
“The food is so good I had to fight my wife my son three bears an ogre and the Rock for the last garlic knot. I'm not gonna talk about the riot over the last pizza bone. Let's just say someone left missing a digit or two.. I suggest you get the pesto chicken and “
“A Memphis original - almost a trip down memory lane, with the vibes of any old-school mom-pop Italian restaurant. Went on a Friday evening, which I thought could be a long wait looking at the packed parking lot. No such worries - Attentive service from the get-go. Our server was new, but was well aware of balancing needs across newbies vs veterans. The menu is substantial, and provides the usual stalwarts one wants in such a place. And it also provides for a wide variety. Started with the mushroom appetizer, stuffed with a shrimp/ crab and eggplant mix. Buttery deliciousness ...albeit a hint more of spice dash on top would have added that kick! This was followed by Chicken Marsala, full dinner combo. Which our server was kind to throw in a baby pizza as a side option...loved it!All in all, with the overall vibes, good service, and good food at a reasonable price point, a place to come back to.“
“First time dining in and we were pleasantly surprised! Great menu and food options. Love the different pizza crust-style options (Chicago, Detroit etc.) Great craft beer menu. Also loved all the TVs - great place to catch a game! This place is definitely on our east Memphis radar now!“
“We stopped here yesterday for breakfast. The owner was lovely. A great choice of food on the menu. What we could call a greasy spoon cafe back in the UK. The food was simple, tasty and cooked to order. We both had the french toast breakfast, absolutely delicious, piping hot and really reasonably priced. As other have said it's a no fuss place with plastic plates, cutlery etc, but it is definitely worth a visit.“
“Haven’t been to an Olive Garden in a while. Visiting family back home in Cordova and wanted a nice sit down meal. Other places had a long wait as it was Sunday. No wait at Olive Garden. Food did not disappoint. The server was above average and she had the most amazing nails! Wish I had gotten her name. She was very pretty and had nails that reminded me of hello kitty with 3D type things attached. I loved them. She was the best and had the most patience with us and best personality!“
“Great spot very conveniently located to Beale Street. We went at ~6:00p on a Thursday with a reservation. Parked easily on the street without trouble. Although a lot of Memphis looks pretty rough, this close to Beale Street felt clean and safe. The restaurant was empty when we got there but filled up pretty quickly. The space is designed as a reclaimed industrial building; they've done a good job of making it work. The meals were served course-style - our waiter took the orders for all of our courses at once. They did a great job of spacing them out; we neither waited too long for any one course nor had more than one at our table at a time. I only had one drink with dinner, but the waiter stopped by often enough that I had the chance to order more if I'd wanted. I had the Kaiju, a cachaca-based cocktail that tasted a lot like a caipirinha without the crushed ice. I like caipirinhas, so it worked for me. All of the food was great and the order it came out in was correct. Started with the crudo, then moved on the gnocchi, and finally the pork osso buco. No notes on any of it. I'm not usually a dessert person (and was full enough that I really didn't need it), but this time I went for the Parmesan gelato. Again, very tasty. Overall a great experience, would happily eat again. The menu looks to be updated seasonally, so plenty of opportunity to go back and try something new.“
