“We had our daughter"s wedding reception dinner here. Outstanding service, wonderful environment, superior service, great menu to choose from and delicious food. Price was reasonable and our guests really enjoyed everything. Thank you for the service.“
“My 1st time visiting was on Sunday for Memphis Black Restaurant week. The food was delicious and one of the owners even gave me a tour of their venue. Beautiful artwork displayed. Will definitely be back for more smoked turkey ribs, broccoli cheese cornbread amd smoked cabbage. Highly recommend.“
“Always remember the genuine Model of customer service and loyalty way to show the best food and import worldwide drinking quality. The ramen it’s the original quality because come in from Japan directly. I love Kami Ramen Bar Wolfchase and Collierville.“
“Food is great, prices are great, atmosphere is great! Wide variety of food options. My 3 favorite meals are the duck quesadillas, Al Pastor tacos and of course the Baba Burger! They do a table side guacamole that is a half to as well. Enjoy!“
“This is one of the the greatest treasures in all of Memphis. Somewhat of a hole in the wall, the sandwiches are local made and world class. My mouth literally waters when I think of them. The chicken salad is unique and awesome. The potato soup is ALWAYS fire. And the ladies that run this place are just some of the sweetest, most wonderful people around.Do yourself a favor and stop here and stop here often!“
“Best salads in Memphis. I haven't been disappointed yet. I order the Spanky Chef Salad. My 1st visit we ordered 2 had enough for 2 days. This is at least my 6 visit now I only order 1. We both eat & may have a little the next day. Fast service , large portions & great people. Hats off to chef LaMichael. They also give discount if you say Where Black People Eat“
“Great patty melt. I attended a birthday party and it was nice for my age group - grown & sexy. The DJ was nice and turned downed the sound for us to sing happy birthday! Cool lights. Bad parking as usual for downtown. Card reader to place order was having issues as well. Overall nice time.“
“The Walker Avenue location hosted our church basketball team’s pizza party and did a PHENOMENAL job. The staff was very accommodating of our large group and provided us with everything we needed. The food was delicious and we will definitely look to them for future group events!“
“I was a first timer and I'm always excited about supporting a black owned business and I told the cashier that but she wasn't friendly or talkative at all, the food was expensive (but what's not these days) but IT WAS SOOO GOOD! I will try once more and hopefully the owner reads this and will speak with cashier about her unfriendly, unconcerned customer service.“
“The food here is delicious! I come at least once a week and get the same thing every time: the chopper salad with chicken. Though this past time, it didn’t taste as good as usual. Not sure why. Anyway, it’s usually AMAZING. The only reason I give 4 stars is because their bathrooms are awful. I really wish they’d re do them. They’re usually dirty.“
“Visiting Memphis went from great to absolutely wonderful when I checked out Rawgirls! They have this amazing vegan French Lentil soup that will fill you up in no time and the flavors won’t disappoint at all! This vegan shop sells only vegan foods, which is essential when you’re in a BBQ city, and is in need of something healthy to eat. With their juice, salad, pasta, and soup options, your body will thank you for providing it with all clean ingredients!! I love Rawgirls for existing for the health conscious community that grows every day and will definitely grow more and more with the flavor filled options this lovely vegan place is providing!“
“We are from Mobile Alabama and we’re in town for our Corporate Summit for Lenny’s Grill & Subs and wanted to grab a quick lunch before hitting the road. We drove past the Smackers location Hwy 64 and decided to give it a try. We had never heard of Smackers, much less eaten at one. Walking in was impressive, the store was clean and well decorated! The staff was extremely helpful in our decision making and clearly knew their brand well! We had a seat and spoke to a few locals who sang the praises. Shortly we received our order and man were those praises validated! If I’m ever in the area again I will make it a priority to stop back in!! Thank you for a great experience!“
“Honestly I passed on this place several times because the menu didn't look all that interesting. I am really glad I finally tried it. I had the catfish and shrimp. Being from Mississippi, the catfish capital of the world, I have had the best catfish you could ever taste so I am pretty picky. If it's not good I won't even eat it. Soul Fish did not disappoint. The catfish and the shrimp were excellent. I don't typically like sweet hush puppies but they were pretty good also. The baked sweet potato was I great paring I had never tried. I really hate I am just now giving this place a try. Definitely stop by. Not many places left that use top quality ingredients, cook the food themselves, have great service and still have affordable prices but Soul Fish does. I will definitely be back.“
“Excellent food value, clean operation, spot on service. My favorite part of my meal was listening to a family of four in the booth next to mine have a normal, loving family night out. That was something missing from my childhood, real conversations, involved parents, normalcy. Next time, I want to be seated close to the kitchen for the mouth watering smells. From the chilled salad plates to the freshly grated parmesan, Olive Garden has much to offer.Parking: I appreciate the security detail. I parked at night by the closed bank. Parking may be tighter during the day when neighboring businesses are open.“
“I always had the best memories of this restaurant. When I was a little girl, my grandmother used to take me there all the time after church or just on a random Saturday. This and the Brooks Museum and other such places along Poplar Avenue. Such lovely memories and the best Southern food at Piccadilly. “
“Cool little deli spot. I got a Togo order. The food was great. I had the beef and cabbage soup and it was hot and filling. It has beans ground beef, and other veggies. The Rachael was pretty good too. I love pastrami and there's was awesome. I would definitely come back. The prices are pretty reasonable and the downtown location has a early bird special before 11 am of buy one get one half off. Keep in mind that you have to call for daily soups and if your looking for particular desserts if doing online orders. Customer service was great as well, very sweet ladies.“
“Atmosphere takes a hit for being to friggin cold. I get that busy staff gets hot. However they weren't that busy. Food was excellent, never ending soup and salad always a winner for lunch. Other lunch menu items seem a bit overpriced for lunch.“
“This place has some of the best food I have ever eaten in my life. This includes food eaten in France, Italy, Egypt, etc. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere wonderful. This lamb literally fell off the bone. You need to be here, make sure to ask for extra harissa paste!l“
