“This is one of the the greatest treasures in all of Memphis. Somewhat of a hole in the wall, the sandwiches are local made and world class. “We are from Mobile Alabama and we’re in town for our Corporate Summit for Lenny’s Grill & Subs and wanted to grab a quick lunch before hitting the road. We drove past the Smackers location Hwy 64 and decided to give it a try. We had never heard of Smackers, much less eaten at one. Walking in was impressive, the store was clean and well decorated! The staff was extremely helpful in our decision making and clearly knew their brand well! We had a seat and spoke to a few locals who sang the praises. Shortly we received our order and man were those praises validated! If I’m ever in the area again I will make it a priority to stop back in!! Thank you for a great experience!“
“Firehouse is one of our go-to places to grab lunch. It is on the "regulars" list because it never disappoints. It truly depends on what Firehouse you visit because they aren't all created equally. Our #1 location is on Stage Rd at Appling. The service is always spot on and so is the food. The crew(s) here are always on point to making everything the exact same way each time we visit. This is why we rarely visit other locations. The only time that could use improvement is the sitting. All Firehouse locations are super small for the most part, so seating is a hit or miss and so is parking. I know there isn't much they can do about the parking lot but it's a absolute nightmare. It's just super tight and shared with numerous amounts of other businesses. If you have not tried the chili, please do! I love it! And I'm chili snob, so this is the top of non-homemade chili. In conclusion, Firehouse is THE place for hot subs!!“
“I just love Chicken Salad Chick with all the selections, friendly service, and great atmosphere. I introduced CSC to my husband and he was so impressed that he got an extra scoop to go. I got the Jalapeño Holly and grape salad. It was such a fantastic combo. Big portions and full of flavor.“

“It was an inclement weather, and the only food delivery ( through Uber eats) open in the downtown area was Jimmy Johns. I can’t thank them enough for their super service. “My first two orders here I didn't tip. The last two orders, including today. I tipped $4. My second to last order I had to get my own chips. My last order today I had to do the same. I will not be giving anymore tips. I ordered online so I can only have to walk in and pickup. Since I have to also get my own chips. I won't tip at this location.“
“There is usually a wait just to place your order, however, it is worth the time. The sub sandwiches are all delicious. The bread is slightly sweet, like Hawaiian rolls, and made fresh. The kitchen food is also delicious, if you want spicy they got you.“

They also put the meat and veggies on their sandwiches without slacking on the amount how some places lack. I tried the cajun chicken this time. “Cool little deli spot. I got a Togo order. The food was great. I had the beef and cabbage soup and it was hot and filling. It has beans ground beef, and other veggies. The Rachael was pretty good too. I love pastrami and there's was awesome. I would definitely come back. The prices are pretty reasonable and the downtown location has a early bird special before 11 am of buy one get one half off. Keep in mind that you have to call for daily soups and if your looking for particular desserts if doing online orders. Customer service was great as well, very sweet ladies.“

“I'll say, I've got three lennys locations that I enjoy visiting, one on poplar, cooper and hacks cross. The freshly baked bread that the hacks cross uses on their sandwiches, is very addictive. Plus you can smell it baking as you enter their eatery.I used my coupon for 5 dollars off, I ordered the Turkey Club with lemonade. Chips and a cookie. The lady that took my order at register was very nice.Everything was delicious, I frequent the Lenny's based on the area of the city I'm in at the time.
