“Wanted to give this spot 2022 review this location has really upped it in terms of quality I guess the Owner cleaned house and replaced the staff of ladies that was there early last year don't get me wrong they were really nice but the new staff is much faster and keeps everything clean and organized and everything seems much fresher has been my go to subway spot in the Lakeland area for a while definitely prefer this one over the ones on stage and the one by the sprouts farmers market“
“My boyfriend and I recently visited this Subway. We usually go to one closer to our house, but I believe we will be driving the extra distance for this one now!! The OWNER of the store was working behind the counter, took our orders, and made our sandwiches. He was very friendly and personable and actually carried on a conversation with us. We really appreciated seeing that kind of effort from the owner. Our food was also perfect, just what we ordered.“
“My grandmother taught me to make chicken salad many years ago and I started making mine with smoked chicken about 6 years ago. I really wanted to like this, it's close to my work and I like chicken salad. Unfortunately, the sweet far outweighed the savory or smoky and I didn't really like it. It's not bad if you like sweet chicken salad, just wasn't for me. Prices were really good. Staff was friendly.“
“We are from Mobile Alabama and we’re in town for our Corporate Summit for Lenny’s Grill & Subs and wanted to grab a quick lunch before hitting the road. We drove past the Smackers location Hwy 64 and decided to give it a try. We had never heard of Smackers, much less eaten at one. Walking in was impressive, the store was clean and well decorated! The staff was extremely helpful in our decision making and clearly knew their brand well! We had a seat and spoke to a few locals who sang the praises. Shortly we received our order and man were those praises validated! If I’m ever in the area again I will make it a priority to stop back in!! Thank you for a great experience!“
“Firehouse is one of our go-to places to grab lunch. It is on the "regulars" list because it never disappoints. It truly depends on what Firehouse you visit because they aren't all created equally. Our #1 location is on Stage Rd at Appling. The service is always spot on and so is the food. The crew(s) here are always on point to making everything the exact same way each time we visit. This is why we rarely visit other locations. The only time that could use improvement is the sitting. All Firehouse locations are super small for the most part, so seating is a hit or miss and so is parking. I know there isn't much they can do about the parking lot but it's a absolute nightmare. It's just super tight and shared with numerous amounts of other businesses. If you have not tried the chili, please do! I love it! And I'm chili snob, so this is the top of non-homemade chili. In conclusion, Firehouse is THE place for hot subs!!“
“I just love Chicken Salad Chick with all the selections, friendly service, and great atmosphere. I introduced CSC to my husband and he was so impressed that he got an extra scoop to go. I got the Jalapeño Holly and grape salad. It was such a fantastic combo. Big portions and full of flavor.“
“I took my son to eat at this Subway after a Briarcrest basketball game. Several of his teammates met us there as well. When we walked in the manager, as well as the lady checking customers out, welcomed us. The manager seemed to know everyone that came in, kids to adults. It was like the Subway version of Cheers. I even ordered cookies for all my son's friends and then promptly fumbled them onto the floor worse than an Ole Miss football player. The manager said "I got you" and replaced them for the boys no questions asked. Basically the manger is him. I shall return.“
“I ordered two sub sandwiches over the phone with Teresa, who was very pleasant & patient. My order was correct & warm when it was picked up. Exceptional service is something many restaurants strive for, & it's always nice when that type service is experienced. Thanks again Teresa!“
“Excellent food and service. I like the Fancy Nancy. The little cookie is delicious. The food is brought to your table. Also, I heard their pimento cheese is ver good even though I have not tried it. Chicken Salad Chick had two locations. One in East Memphis and the other one close to Lakeland. Also their grape salad is very good and refreshing. I like that the store is closed on Sunday. My daughter buys a lot from Chicken Salad Chick. She does get an offer for a free container“
“The subs were so good. I got the Original Italian, lettuce, onions, the tomatoes look like they had a little bit of rine in the middle, but they weren't bad. The kid at the end of line cut my regular in half, which was fine, than he put it in the sub bag and proceeded to twist it up like it's a doobie. Roll up so tightly i was concerned he was crushing the contents. I know inflation makes everything High, but this seemed a tad bit expensive. Overall this is a definite recommend, if you're wanting to eat Subs.“
