“How is this place not constantly busy??? I've been to this place twice and been blown away both times. First time I had a dry rubbed barbecue chicken, and holy crap, that may have been the best barbecue chicken I've ever had in my entire life. I would bet on it in competition against literally any of the Memphis barbecue joints. Second visit, I got the Memphis Dawg and fries. The house seasoning that they put on their fries is the best I've ever tasted, and the Memphis Dawg combines a perfectly cooked hot dog with cheddar, delicious pulled pork, and amazing barbecue sauce. And all of this is before you get to the Big Dawg himself, Ty, who looks fairly intimidating but is genuinely one of the nicest human beings I've ever met. Definitely coming here again.“

“Firehouse is one of our go-to places to grab lunch. It is on the "regulars" list because it never disappoints. It truly depends on what Firehouse you visit because they aren't all created equally. Our #1 location is on Stage Rd at Appling. The service is always spot on and so is the food. The crew(s) here are always on point to making everything the exact same way each time we visit. This is why we rarely visit other locations. The only time that could use improvement is the sitting. All Firehouse locations are super small for the most part, so seating is a hit or miss and so is parking. I know there isn't much they can do about the parking lot but it's a absolute nightmare. It's just super tight and shared with numerous amounts of other businesses. If you have not tried the chili, please do! I love it! And I'm chili snob, so this is the top of non-homemade chili. In conclusion, Firehouse is THE place for hot subs!!“
“This Captain D’s is closer to my house so I frequent it..I hardly ever have to take my food back(i.e missing items or doesn’t have what ordered). I do not mind waiting longer for my food to be made to order & fresh. Staff are usually always friendly and ensure 100% great customer service.The lobby can get messy @ times but staff will get right on it.“

“First, the prices are very affordable. I appreciated the authenticity of the food. Loved the chicken and steak tacos the most. I went the next day and tried the pork and barria tacos. I didn't enjoy them as much, but that's just personal preference. The green and red salsa is great. I'll be a customer every time I come to that area. You'll love the food.“

Being from Mississippi, the catfish capital of the world, I have had the best catfish you could ever taste so I am pretty picky. If it's not good I won't even eat it. Soul Fish did not disappoint. The catfish and the shrimp were excellent. I don't typically like sweet hush puppies but they were pretty good also. The baked sweet potato was I great paring I had never tried. I really hate I am just now giving this place a try. Definitely stop by. I grew up in the Midwest where fillers in the hamburger meat put you out of business.French fries where the farm they picked the potatoes are on the potato’s sacks that are stacked up in plain view .That’s not all , fast food chain , to increase profit use “ fake potatoes “.I’ve traveled to 48 states , 14 countries during my tour days .I’ve never seen people cutting raw potatoes and ten put them in “ fresh oil “ , drain them and salted to perfection.Chicago undoubtedly has been home to the best hamburgers and deep dish pizza .You’d have to do to Chicago to get their hamburgers .Not anymore . I can go 5 blocks away and get the best burger I’ve ever had….. BUT, what makes this midtown Memphis Five Guys so special are the people who can’t wait to see their customers take their first bite into a hamburger that the team just made . These team members are what puts the “ finishing “ touches on a unique experience…. I came inside to get something to eat this afternoon and explained that my husband’s truck was broken down outside (he was here for lunch today and his truck wouldn’t start when he went back out). A co-worker took him back to work. When I explained why there was a truck just sitting out there half the day, Keyta was so sweet and said she would make sure the manager knew and that it was totally fine. I ordered a sandwich that was ready in minutes. Shortly after I went back inside to ask for some garbage bags. Keyta was so sweet and sympathetic. “Fazoli's is always very tasty. I normally get the spaghetti?, but I tried the fettuccine and stuffed shells. It was great. Their prices are very reasonable. I literally go to Sonic daily using mobile app. However I have never visited a Sonic and received the quality of customer service that I received from Brianna, I wish she could train all the employees at other locations.
