“Went with a group of nine and had the only large seating area in a fairly small restaurant so I do not recommend for large groups.I'm a long term fan of Elwoods near Perkins and Summer. This one on Park had same terrific sandwiches abd EXTENSIVE menu. Sadly the one I picked today - debris - did not taste like they ones I loved in New Orleans but there are plenty of great choices on the menu. Prices for sandwiches are a bit on high side but quality and quantity make them worth more than the large chain offerings. My sticker shock was $'3.25 for tea! It was self serve in a souvenir cup but I'd rather have a plain cup at cheaper price.What surprised me at this location? Beautiful aquarium with gorgeous fish.“
“This place was perfect for a caffeine intake and to hang out for a bit. They had lattes, beer (coffee beer!), mixed drinks (espresso based drinks) and foods. My family spent time trying different drinks and playing different board games. Drinks and playing "Settlers of Catan" is the recipe for a good time. “I arrived at the airport 3 hours before my flight, expecting it to be busy with holiday travelers. I was wrong. I decided to grab a seat at their bar while waiting for my flight to board. The bar was quiet, as was most of the airport. Customer service was great. The bartender recommends her favorite pizza. I was looking forward to trying it but they were out of a few toppings. I ended up having the buffalo chicken pizza with onions and two of their signature drinks. The pizza exceeded my expectations. The crust was crispy and it was drizzled with extra buffalo sauce. I probably would have preferred blue cheese over the ranch that it came with but it was still really good. I enjoyed two of their signature drinks- black panther and a thin line between love and hate. The black panther (vodka, blue curacao, grenadine, lime juice and sprite) was my favorite out of the two.“

It was empty inside with 4 on the patio eating when I walked in at 4:40, a guy behind the counter took my order at 4:47 and I had my slice at 4:52. We ordered a 15” half and half pizza, and shared that. I loved the freshly baked, thin crust pizza with pepperoni and parmesan and can go back anytime for it. It was weekend night and the place was quite packed. I parked in the parking lot opposite to it, however, in the weekend it can be difficult to get a parking spot. The test is whether a plain cheese pizza is good, and Little Italy's plain has the perfect flavor and cheesiness which reminds me of New York pizza. Pizzas with toppings are excellent as well. Little Italy Downtown isn't great for dining in - there aren't a lot of tables, it's best if lunch or a quick dinner. Still, a slice of pizza and a can of soda are only about $8, it's the best lunch you can get at that price.“

There was a manager there, by the name of Tabbie, who made our experience great from the time we entered until we left. Our food came to the table piping hot and fresh. We were checked on multiple times to see if we needed anything else, such as sauces, napkins, etc. The salad bar had so many options and the pizza varieties seemed endless. “Pete & Sam’s is a Memphis classic for southern Italian-American cooking. Hear me out; they have easily one of the best cheeseburgers and Gorgonzola wedge salads in the city. The employees are awesome and although the restaurant is usually slammed they’ll get you in in no time.“

Now the mild, that was a really well done Buffalo sauce. I walked in, gave my name, the cashier got my food (I had paid on the website) and I was right back out the door and headed back on the road for the 30+ minute drive home. And the owners seem like hard-working people just trying to make a living. I'm on a pescatarian diet (fish + veggies), so I didn't try some of their tasty-looking meat options. (Lamb chops?!) Thankfully, they had baked fish, which sounded perfect. The cashier said it would take 20' to cook, and I was willing to wait. I got one of each flavor. I took my food to the car and ate there. You could have told me it was from any restaurant, and I would've believed you. The fish was flavorful and very tender. Very reasonable prices, too. Recommended. Would return.
