About Capriccio Grill

The Capriccio Grill, located in the historic Peabody Hotel, offers a variety of meals and duck-themed desserts. The food is considered quite good by many diners, with the spaghetti and dessert being especially enjoyable. Service can be fast and friendly, with some reviewers praising staff members like Justice, who was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. She checked special dietary needs, gave good recommendations, and even went to the concierge to help plan the rest of the stay. Despite some reports of slow service at times, once attended to, guests often find the staff to be engaging and accommodating. The ambiance has been described as lacking, giving a diner-like atmosphere, but the ease of valet parking and friendly hosts help create a pleasant experience overall. Diners also appreciate the well-prepared steaks, amazing desserts, and cocktails mixed to perfect portions, making visits worthwhile even in bad weather.

Lovely food and fantastic service.
We made a 10am reservation but learned the brunch doesn't start until 11:30. Did we miss that on Open Table? Anyway, we could not wait so we had to stick to our reservations. We waited forever for everything. The menus, the coffee, the omelettes, even the check. We had to get up and go looking for each of these things. It was very disappointing, to say the least. We are from California and might never get back there.
The food was fabulous. We started with Ceasars salad which was pretty standard fare. Then I had a rib eye which was so, so, good, and a sweet potatoe dish that was fabulous. My wife also had ceaser salad and a Jack Daniel's Threeway with shrimp (okay), pork and beef steaks cooked in Jack Daniel's sauces. They were also very good. A half-bottle of pilot noirhelped it all go down with wonderful notes. Desert was a pecan and caramel and espresso cassoulette with a fabulous port wine....read full review
