“i really liked this restaurant!! i got the fish and shrimp dinner with mac and cheese and it was not to disappoint!! the mac and cheese was very very good and same with my fish. my only complaint was the cornbread. it was very hard and dry. for dessert my family shared a banana cake which was one of the best desserts i’ve had in a while. it tasted just like banana bread!! the workers were very kind and i recommend eating here!!“

“Our dinner was perfect! Raymon was our server and he made our dining experience wonderful. He was so attentive, professional, and very friendly. You need to have Raymon make you a cup of coffee because it was the smoothest coffee I have had in a long time. The steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The sides mac n’cheese was so good, but the sweet potato casserole was just out of this world. We also started off with the spicy shrimp and it was very special. Just so light and just the right amount of spice. It was a great experience and we will be back!!!“

The meal was delicious ? hit the spot however the pieces of fish were very small as 2 pieces equaled 1 piece if sitting in the restaurant. I called when I got home & a guy answered the phone & I told him my concern & he said he tells ppl to check the order before leaving which I didnt know I need to but I will from now on if i return. Me & a friend split the meal. The price was fine, the fish tasted good ?, she wasn't happy w/ her meal or her pecan pie so the 5* was more for the gal that took the order even tho my fish tasted good the pieces were way to small. “The first thing I'd like to note is that the service is excellent. Our waiter, Greg, was very attentive and friendly toward us. Shared insights into the menu and was able to provide recommendations based on our interests. Later we were visited by the Manager. The level of care for the customer in the customer shines through. Our waters never went empty. Food was served promptly after we settled on our choices. slightly disappointed in the presentation of the lemon asparagus and they did not have as much lemon flavor to them as I would have hoped for. Garlic mash was an absolute smash. Cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection but my petite filet was slightly over cooked. I dared not send it back because it was still delicious. The flavors were exquisite and we recommend the bone marrow butter for a savory experience overload! All other menu items were excellent. The ambiance with the candle and low lights made for a nice setting. We were seated next to a larger wedding party so it got a bit noisy (but rightfully so!) overall our first experience was wonderful and we will likely be back again.“

The inside is much bigger than it seems in the outside . Back to the food filets were true catfish crispy not burnt evenly cooked all over . Fries were normal straight cut nothing fancy. The tartar sauce was so good I think it’s homemade no way that came out of a jar. Well I drink only water so no drink review but please go here if u want fast true authentic fish plate go here ! Classic “hole in the wall” with great eats, great service, and great conversation; our entire family enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had a good mix and didn’t have a thing we didn’t like- from the fried fish and shrimp to the crab and shrimp boil- the sauces and the dry seasoning were DELCIOUS! Truly some of the best flavor I’ve had on seafood; we were all practically licking the plates (that garlic butter ?) & even bought some seasoning for home. A lot of us split The Little Island between 2 which was perfect (but even better after adding a piece of fried fish). Prices were reasonable and worth it. “Every time we go to Memphis, we stop here. Their food and service are excellent. One of us always gets the catfish and I choose either fried shrimp or the cuban. “I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is your spot. You know it's good Mexican when the majority of the customers are also Mexican. They have a wide variety of menu items with different meat/veggie options for them. You can order a hurache with shrimp, beans and cheese, nopales or anything else you can think of. I love the options. The food is amazing and they have great customer service. I love that they provide hot salsa and green salsa in addition to the regular chips and salsa for no additional cost. The restaurant is located in a building with a few other businesses including a tire shop. You could order food and eat while getting a tire change which is super convenient.
