“We loved it! The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the duck breast. Someone else got the lobster tail and it looked delicious! The bread reminded me of a fresher fluffier Texas Roadhouse roll. Thoroughly enjoyed the Crème brûlée. A little pricey, but great for special occasions! (However we probably wouldn’t get the spinach artichoke dip again).“
“I've been a regular here for almost a year now. A hidden gem that is open to the public. I work remotely so i love being able to use the Wi-Fi here to work and eat something delicious for lunch! My favorites are the Cypress Club sandwich, BBQ nachos and Big Mike's Burger is perfectly seasoned! They got a great selection of beers, premium malt beverages, sodas, and sport drinks. The ambiance is beautiful right on the golf course and overlooking the pool. I like that they always have on the TVs or play music over the speakers. The staff is very nice and friendly and provide great service!“
“Great fish dinner. Delicious southern condiments on the side. The lemon soft serve ice cream was Wonderful. The Lion King live action movie was playing on the TV. A lot of 50's 60's memorabilia. It was an obviously popular spot as soon as I opened the door.“
“We were in town visiting Memphis for the first time, Easter weekend. Due to the holiday and some places being closed on Sundays, I wanted to ensure that we secured dinner reservations for Easter. I did research & found Flight. The menu was intriguing & decided to make a reservation for a "fancier" night out. To say we loved Flight is an understatement. Walking in the door, we were greeted with friendly hostesses. The waitress was fantastic, explaining their menu to us. She was super attentive throughout the whole meal. The wine flight selections were great- and reasonably priced. The fish flight was incredible, as was the wild boar and elk that we also ordered. The ocean flight appetizer was delicious- crab cake, lobster ravioli, and shrimp. The soup flight was enough reason to visit Memphis again. Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice night out, date or with friends. it is a great date spot but also awesome overall. The front patio overlooks the cute street (with trolley tracks) and overall cozy and trendy. When I am back in memphis, i will be back at Flight!Parking: free valet“
“We called at the last minute last night trying to get a table before a show at the Orpheum after our original plans fell through. They got us in and seated immediately, took our orders quickly, had us in and out within 45 minutes. The food was outstanding, and our server Terri was wonderful. We never felt rushed but they worked hard to get us to the show on time. Excellent experience!“
“If you are looking for a cozy little Italian place with good food, check out Cocozza on Harbor Town! Amazing food and atmosphere! We had the garlic bread, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, and cheesecake. All delicious! Maybe the best cheesecake I’ve had.I feel like we don’t have a lot of great Italian places in Memphis. Definitely worth checking out.“
“This place is incredible. The owner personally welcomed me and walked me through the entire menu (all items are named after his family) and "introduced" me to each family member, who he has proudly displayed in a photo. The food, let me tell you, is out of this world. I've had a lot of fried pies in my day - NEVER have I had a more buttery, flaky, PERFECT one than theirs. The hashbrown was crispy, warm, and seasoned to perfection (McDonald's wishes!), and I loved the Bernadine burrito. Family-owned, community-loving, and as welcoming as it gets, Mitchell's Breakfast Burrito's is my new fave local place. Love to support a Black-owned business as well!“
“I recently dined at The Lobbyist It left my taste buds in awe. The menu featured a creative fusion of flavors and unexpected pairings, showcasing the chef’s culinary prowess. From molecular gastronomy techniques to inventive presentations, each dish was a delightful journey for the senses. The attention to detail and commitment to pushing culinary boundaries made for a truly memorable dining experience. While the prices reflected the avant-garde nature of the cuisine, the overall adventure was well worth it for anyone seeking a unique and indulgent gastronomic adventure.“
“Very good food . Great staff very helpful . The atmosphere is layed back and inviting. Recommend stopping by here if you are closed and hungry.Parking: 10 spots around restaurant. Not crowded for as good as the food was.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access at the door from parking lot.“
“We were passing through Memphis and my boyfriend found them on google. The second he read they had poutine we were in.We had the traditional poutine and oh my goodness, by far the best we have had in the states! They had some great choices on meals authentic to Canada as well as the states. Some plates have a little twist in the recipes such as their maple bacon burger and a waffle Monte Cristo. We also adored and recommend Taylour as your server! She was upbeat, personable, attentive and on it!We will definitely be back.“
“Out sightseeing and looking for a place to eat lunch, and the pictures of the food pulled me in! I was curious of the name, and the wonderful host Judy told me that it was for South of Beale. Meeting Judy when I came in the door was just the beginning of this wonderful experience! We discussed what a cool place it was, and how much she loved working there and taking care of her customers. Then Taylor came up to wait on me, and she continued the happiness of being there. After a little discussion, I went with the Duck Fried Rice, the picture of which was the thing that brought me to SOB. It did not disappoint, it was amazing! The entire lunch was just so pleasant, from the atmosphere, to the staff and then finally the food. I can’t wait to go back and try more things!“
“We have now visited twice. This restaurant is really to be one of the best restaurants in the city. From the weight staff to the bartenders to the housemate cocktails, I cannot find one thing to complain about. Everything is an exceptional experience. But the food. It's something else. A well done, upscale menu and dining experience.“
“The spot was on point! We sat at the bar on a Sunday. The bar tender KD was amazing! She makes really good drinks! The entire staff were very friendly and attentive! The Crab Cake Benedict was delicious! Cooked to perfection! It's my new favorite entree! My husband ordered the salmon Benedict! He loved his meals too! He said that's one of our spots!“
“A pretty typical bar. Their food is delicious and the drinks are well balanced. I went during the big snowstorm and it was still pretty packed. I stayed in Memphis for two days and came by both days, once for dinner and once for brunch. The dinner, one of their daily specials, was outstanding; I sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice. The brunch was not as good but still quite enjoyable, and when I arrived for brunch the service was a little chilly in attitude. Given that there was still four inches of snow outside I didn't let it bother me at the time, but it was a bit off-putting. I know it wasn't because of the previous night, because I mostly keep to myself (aside from a little bar chat if other patrons are wanting to converse) and tip 25%. The bar is walkable from a lot of area hotels, even in the snow, but it is a more dangerous area (at least according to several locals) so use your best judgment and if it's late and you're drinking, consider a ride share.Parking: Street parking only as far as I'm aware. I did not see if it was paid or free as I walked and didn't pay attention, but even in a snow storm the parking was completely full.Wheelchair accessibility: It is possible, but not ideal. It is a slender building and the door is rather narrow.“
“This was my first time visiting this establishment. I went with my sister, niece, her boyfriend and my best friend. We arrived early because we were informed the show was extremely good and good seating was limited. We ordered wings, fries and mostly everything on the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also ordered drinks throughout the night and they were fantastic. I wish I could remember all of the food and drinks we ordered; however the drinks were so good I forgot ?????…The show was amazing with exceptional performances. Everyone in my party ? truly enjoyed ourselves and we all stated we will definitely be back. We had such an incredible time that our final bill came out to around $550 and it was worth every dollar we spent….Parking: It’s located downtown near the FedEx basketball ? stadium.“
“Dive-bar vibes with a really good (if slightly overcooked) burgers. We had a big group and so can't really comment on normal food times. But, nice beer selection and anything with the bacon jam was great! Sourdough bun was fantastic, fries were just okay.“
“This is a solid spot with a varied menu for the area. In addition to standard pub fare, there are many options, including vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely stop by here again if I was in Memphis. I wish they had a non-alcoholic drink menu (mocktails) or non-alcoholic beer.“
“There's just something about the Flying Saucer that appeals to me. It has an absolutely unparalleled selection of draft beers, and the food is very good. It's located in what used to be a thriving area of Memphis, but unfortunately the area has gone a bit downhill.“
“Phenomenal burger. Cooked perfectly. Butter and toasted buns on point. Creamed spinach was delish. Tina's service was on point throughout the dining experience. I totally recommend this location to anyone desiring a good beer, great food combined with amazing service. 5 ?.“
“Nice location with really nice staff, a great atmosphere and ability to order some items from the steakhouse. We had some super fresh oysters and tasty burgers and cocktails. Overall price, quality, and service was a must come back. The onion soup was killer!“
“Wonderful little cafe on main street. Great open space, solid food, it's definitely a treat from some of the craziness in downtown.I've been going here on and off for awhile but haven't been back in awhile as I've moved. The manager (I assumed) was fairly rude and did not add to the otherwise welcoming atmosphere.Instance 1) When I asked for the WiFi, she was very short with me and I didn't even understand what she was saying because she spoke so fast (for context, the cafe wasn't particularly busy at this time and my ability to hear and comprehend things are pretty solid). No problem, just used my hot spot because she made me feel like a nuisance and I didn't want to interact with her again.Instance 2) I was sitting outside, staying after open (never came here much on the weekdays and didn't think they closed at 2 pm, simple misunderstanding). The manager came out while I was in a virtual meeting and took the number I was given earlier for my order. Again, since I didn't know they had closed I assumed she was just collecting it. She came out about a minute later and very rudely told me to leave, clapping her hands and raising her voice. Apparently, when she initially came out she had told me that it's time to go. I've worked in the service industry for 5 years, I know it's annoying when people stay after close, but her reaction was just unnecessary and discourteous as I obviously had not heard her the first time (was in a meeting, headphones in). I am always happy to vacate and certainly respect closing times, again, just a little mix-up that didn't need to be escalated.I'm not one to think everyone in the service industry should "act like they want to be here", I know wages are low, customers can be rude, we're in hard times economically. But it costs nothing to be kind and gracious. Instead of acting in that way, she just went straight to being impolite and uncivil.“
“Like a Sunday afternoon in your best friend's back yard. Be sure to catch the Grassfire Bluegrass band live. We saw them on Sunday (11-3). Smoked turkey wings, cold draft beer, lots of space indoors and out. Authentic historic vibe in the converted locksmith and converted carriage house located in 4 acres. Staff was friendly but I put only 4 stars for service because it's self-service. No table service.“
“We have been to Tug's Casual Grill an embarrassing number of times in the past two months. This place is positively addictive! Savory Asian Lettuce Wraps, Southwestern Egg Rolls, delectible stacks of Bayou Fried Thin Catfish, and deep-fried Chicken Tenders with house-made honey mustard, done right...my husband Dan and I have so many favorites! The daily happy hour (4-6 p.m.) margaritas paired with scrumptious appetizers are an exceptional dinner-time deal. The stunning view of sunset on the river is an added draw. Friendly, attentive service and a peaceful atmosphere top off the experience. Bravo, Tug's Casual Grill! We WILL be back!“
“We had a great night celebrating a special anniversary! The food was great; atmosphere- beautiful, warm and inviting. Initially we had an issue with seating for our reservation but Markayla (one of the managers) made it right! We were able to enjoy the rest of our evening, our celebration and our delicious meal!“
“This is for sure a local small town bar. The drinks and strong and cheap. There's always a pool tournament going on. You'll always see someone you know if you're from Crittenden county it feels cozy yet when you leave you want to take a shower. It reeks of cigarette smoke. Enter at your own risk. The airport club can for sure be a good time when you don't have anywhere to go.“
“A little hidden gem hidden off of the beaten path. The catfish was excellent. Hot and fresh. My widfe loved her Philly steak sandwich. The fries were some of the best I have ever had. They also have a family recipe coleslaw that has to be tried. It is the best that I have ever had. You have to eat here. You will enjoy it.“
“Ignite is an amazing restaurant. From the ambiance to the soothing color scheme. When we arrived there was a birthday card on the table for me. The food was incredible. We ordered the crab cake to start and it was cooked to perfection. For my main course I order the New York strip and had it butterflied. Cooked to perfection and this is the first time in my 57 years that I did not ask for steak sauce. Every bite was magnificent.“
“A small establishment that I found out through word of mouth The food was really good. The cashier wasn't the friendly-ist person I ever had an encounter with. However, she was very well mannered. The wings had the right crunch and seasoned well. The carrots were seasoned to perfection, and the roll was even fresh. Fries and fried okra were good as well.“
“My boyfriend and I have eaten here a lot and are NEVER disappointed. All of the food is made to order and there's something on the menu for everyone. Everything is really clean. Sam is great and always friendly. Also make sure to pick up a quick sweet treat from the front of the store! His wife makes them and they're so good. Do not pass up this place on Main Street. You won't find the food quality and portions anywhere else downtown for better prices than at Sam's.“
“I'm staying at the Hyatt and today I opted for a breakfast on the go experience. The food was good and I'll get to that. However, the most striking thing about my experience was the look of this place. It's got the coolest aesthetic. Not only a place to eat, but also a chill place to relax on the many leather sofas and other comfy seating. The music is just the right volume and adds to the fab atmosphere. I'm not sure why this place isn't packed with folks. It's the move if you want a place for simple food delights and maybe a cocktail. Back to the food, I ordered breakfast and it was tasteful and just enough food to refuel my body for the day--well until lunch, at least. If you are in the area, give this spot a shot as you move about your day. It's easy to get to as it's right on the corner and street level at Hyatt Caption. When you do, make sure to check out Karla. She's the best!“
“Went the other night for the first time. Service was great. Didn't have Fernet nor Green Chartreuse at the time. Cool space. Bartender almost lost my card, but didn't, lol. Nothing on the cocktail menu jumped out at me so I just asked for the yellow Chartreuse they had on hand. Nice outside seating.Oh and somewhere it said automatic gratuity, and I noticed it wasn't actually automatic, so I was pleasantly surprised.“
“It's always a great place for breakfast staff is always nice friendly knowledgeable helpful only thing is they open early and close earlyParking: There's lots of parking they are in a little shopping plaza just gota be aware of rush periods cause they are always with a steady flow of people in and outKid-friendliness: I haven't had any youngens with me but they seem to try to make it easy on the parents as they can“
