The garlic yogurt is phenomenal so delicious with the rice (the chicken was just as delicious). We tried the dessert it was awesome, not too sweet or too heavy. “I went with friends who love this place, and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and fast. Disclaimer, I am definitely not an expert in this type of cuisine. Since I wasn't familiar with many of the dishes, I looked several of them up before I went and chose the main part of the meal from that. I had the lamb broth to start, baba ghanoush, flatbread, and the lamb fahsah. The first course, the broth, was excellent, but every time I received the next item,I loved that even more! As a bonus, the prices are very good, and the portions are large. i'm eating round two as I write this. It is an extremely casual place, which worked out perfectly for me last night. I will definitely be back.“
“Mediterranean Pita Sandwich and Grill is the same place as Baquees Restaurant and Grill but shows up as 2 different places on google maps. It was hot inside and busy. We got the combination plate with 3 different types of meat with rice and tanoor bread. The food was filling and meat was good but kinda dry. We thought it came with salad as it said in the menu, but it doesn’t. It was kinda expensive $17 for plate. I would come back to try the sandwich.“
“Go-to for a quick, easy, fresh dinner in Memphis! I love the greek salad with chicken or the chicken gyros. They can be a bit skimpy with the toppings on the salad in my opinion but overall great food (and one of the only greek spots in the area!)“
“This is a very lovely place with excellent service. The young man serving me was pleasant and very well mannered. The tabouli, lentil soup, and falafels are top tier!!!! The passion fish tilapia sandwich was a very healthy portion but the fish was not char-grilled, it was very under cooked. Even with that little mishap I will definitely be back again!!“
