Man, I love their food, but the slow service just makes it unbearable. The Midtown location has always been better than the East Memphis location in terms of service…until this visit. Tonight was slow. 3 tables seated. We were seated and waited 21 minutes. He never came back to even take the drink order. The staff saw us get up to leave and didn’t say a word. Just had as good a meal as I can remember. So very warming on a cold winter day. Be sure to order the tea. "Best Tea in Memphis" is not an exaggeration!

Casablanca Restaurant - Midtown is a favorite casual dining spot in Memphis. The staff is very nice, and the food is so good, with excellent service. Specific meals include the beef and lamb shawarma with hummus, grape leaves, and Palestinian olive oil. The grape leaves are delightful and excellent, the tea and coffee are excellent, and the food is very delicious and prepared in a timely manner. The restaurant is clean and quite affordable. The patio is great in nice weather. Small groups work well here. There is something for everyone, and it is absolutely recommended to anyone visiting Memphis.
