Honestly, if you go in a restaurant that looks like this, the food better be amazing. And it is! We tried fried green tomatoes, greens, and the World Famous Fried Chicken. The chicken was juicy and so well seasoned. We may stop again, and we're only in town for the weekend.
So dang good! Chicken is cooked to perfection. Mac & cheese… yum. Baked beans just like you’d expect down south. Great Cole slaw. A meal we’ll worth the wait that everyone was happy to have. Nice and friendly staff. A must do stop in Memphis!

Absolutely must stop place in MemphisWent on a road trip last summer and stopped in Memphis, heard many good things about Gus’ so I went to try it myself. This place really lives up to its name! The food was amazing, I’m not a big fan of chicken, but this chicken is beyond delicious. Best chicken I’ve ever had by far! The atmosphere is great, the service is great, and the location is convenient. Highly recommend this place to anyone planning to stop in Memphis!
