“We preordered an order for turkey, ham, and macaroni and scheduled a pickup for the day before Thanksgiving. I knew it was going to be busy, obviously. What I didn’t know was going to happen was a line of people around the building. But I definitely understand that can happen the day before Thanksgiving and just got in line with everyone else. The manager(s) and employees were very patient and polite through the entire process. They went as quick as possible and did their best with the situation.”

“Our first time there. Our server, Miranda, was great and attentive. We started off with the Cajun fried corn on the cob appetizer. I suggest that upon serving that appetizer to your patrons to caution them that it is extremely hot (not spicy) but HOT! Will prevent burned lips when corn is bitten into and liquid squirts out. The fried fish, shrimp, and French fries were awesome! Slaw and roll nothing to write home about. Gal bartending was not very professional as I actually saw her vape once and eat a meal at her counter. She was also using language that I thought was inappropriate even in the friendly way she was speaking to her customer. I was surprised to read some of the recent negative reviews. We had a good experience and will return.”

“Crawfish were meaty, well seasoned. Oyster po-boy had plump, crispy, not over fried oysters, fresh roll, a little excessive with the shredded lettuce. Gumbo was passable - not terrible, but not memorable, either. Service was a real letdown. The morose young man at the counter barely acknowledged us until we gave him our order. We were the only ones to dine in, at least 5 other orders were all to-go. Understandable given the unwelcoming atmosphere.”

“I've never been to a waffle house before. I've always been a bit put off because they look a bit ghettoish. Last night, we decided to give it a go, and I got to say it is not what I was expecting. (From this location)First of all the employees were nice and welcoming, they were attentive. The food was great, fresh, and delicious, and the prices! What!? In this economy!? We enjoyed it and had it this morning as well. We'll totally be having it again.”

“Do not let the outside fool you, it looks closed as the windows are blacked out. But when you get inside it is huge, comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. I had the teriyaki chicken, and it was great! Should have taken a photo. The chicken was not dry like other places it was just right! The only downside is they could use new bench seat coverings as they were very worn. Again not a negative thing this place was great! Price is a tad higher that I thought at first but what has not cost more since Biden.”
