“I love going there getting my chicken livers and my fried green tomatoes. They have the best seasoning ever when it comes down to fried food. If you looking for some good soul eating you must go check them out. Every time I'm in Mississippi I always get my chicken livers if they don't have my chicken livers I'll just get a burger. The burger is excellent as well so I always stop there when I used to work before I go to work. So they have left nothing but good smiles on my face after I eat every time I get their food it's not no maybe it's not no what if it's not going to be season right? Their food is always been great. “We were in Southaven so decided to try Belly Acres based on a great review from. apizzaguy on Instagram. We got the smash burger and seasoned fries. The burgers (2 - 4oz. grass-fed beef patties) was nicely seasoned with crispy edges. Had cheese and caramelized onions on top. The beef was delicious. The fries were good too. Will definitely go back and try the catfish and chicken.“

“I had the 3 meat sampler plate. Excellent! Top notch brisket. The sausage - oooo. They have a horse radish dipping sauce that is to die for. The Mac and cheese, full flavor but not a kid’s side. Well, I especially love the banana pudding [authentic, down-home style] like Muddear used to make back in the day. The entrees are exceptional. Did I mention the corn bread? “My favorite Soul Food restaurant! They have great service and very efficient with ordering and processing and they remember they're customers. I always get the Kams Porchops. I hope they do more hot water cornbread. They did it as a substitute for the loaf. I want more.“

“The service and atmosphere here were absolutely great, and we didn't have to wait long at all to get our food.

However, the food itself was a bit of a letdown. The catfish had more of a Creole taste rather than the traditional Southern flavor I was expecting. The fries were just okay, but they barely gave us enough ketchup for one person, let alone the three of us who were eating. To top it off, the food was only lukewarm when it arrived, and the side of spaghetti was completely cold.
