“I had the 3 meat sampler plate. Excellent! Top notch brisket. The sausage - oooo. They have a horse radish dipping sauce that is to die for. The Mac and cheese, full flavor but not a kid’s side. Service was also excellent. Jessica made us feel welcome. I’m a couple of hours drive away but will definitely return.“

“Hey nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. when your order is missing something or even the cookie, they will make it right! I was greeted by my favorite cashier today! -- Lexi !!! -- She is always there to greet everyone with the warmest smile. “This is a cafeteria with so many selections from salads of all kinds like Caesar, krab, fruit, jello to huge entrees like fish, chicken quarters and strips to hamburger steak and liver to sides like corn, mashed potatoes, fried okra, greens, green beans and macaroni and cheese to desserts like peach cobbler, pecan, lemon chiffon and chocolate pies. You will not go home hungry. They have kids and senior prices. Senior prices are after 2p. For 19.99 you get an entree, 2 sides, a roll, dessert and a drink.
The customer service in the food line was good. The service at the table was great. Very pleasant and attentive. Readily checked on us and refilled our drinks.
This is an older restaurant but still well maintained. Clean.“

“I enjoyed the chicken salad. I had the basic chicken salad on a salad with ranch. It was good except for the cucumbers. They were really bitter. The pickle was excellent. Parking was insane. I had to park at Trader Joe's. I'll be back next time I want chicken salad and don't want to make it myself.“

“Was in town from SC for a job and this place caught our attention.. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

Everything is amazing the salads, sandwiches, my favorite soup is the potatoe soup but I love their chicken soup as well... can't say much about their spicy items because I cannot have them but everything else is amazing.“

“This food is so, so, so GREAT!!! The portion sizes are better than most. These folks are about to blow my food budget. I had to talk myself down from ordering from them on yesterday. The variety is everything! You can easily eat at this restaurant 7 days given the array of foods. I especially love the veggies. Well, I especially love the banana pudding [authentic, down-home style] like Muddear used to make back in the day. The entrees are exceptional. Did I mention the corn bread? Okay, order an extra loaf for snacking later- its that good and you better not dip it in gravy - oh, yeah. I think this place has soul food on lock. Easily. I sample the city eateries here and there but not anymore. I have found my spot. This food is the way to anyone's heart. The customer service is excellent. Very warm and friendly work team. I love the way they assist each other. Call-in orders are hot and ready at the time quoted. A++++ restaurant!!!“

“My 98yo grandmother wanted good, simple country food. We got her some fried fish, me some fried chicken, and then we got a pint of every side that looked good to us to have a nice, full, southern meal. As a southern momma myself, I tend to be very picky about my veggies and these are about as close as I have gotten to find food that taste homemade without having to make it myself. I know it has made caring for my grandmother today much easier and it is good to know there are delicious veggies for me as well just a quick order away. The young man at the counter was very friendly and the man who bagged up our order was so kind. I definitely plan to return and suggest it to other looking for affordable, good, quality, easy food.“

“The lunch is excellent home cooked Southern food. It reminded me so much of my childhood. The artisans items for sale are beautiful. They have many one-of-kind gift items and lots of stuffed animals for the young people in your life. I have not been there in years, but it was as good as I remembered. Wednesday is fried chicken lunch, so plan accordingly. 😍😋👩🏾🍳“

“Katie’s Kitchen is the absolute best!! My family had an emergency and wasn’t able to travel as planned for Thanksgiving. I needed to come up with something for my little family to eat for turkey day. Katie’s Kitchen staff let me place a last minute order and really saved our Thanksgiving. I am forever grateful for how kind they are! The food is also always wonderful!“
