“This is a cafeteria with so many selections from salads of all kinds like Caesar, krab, fruit, jello to huge entrees like fish, chicken quarters and strips to hamburger steak and liver to sides like corn, mashed potatoes, fried okra, greens, green beans and macaroni and cheese to desserts like peach cobbler, pecan, lemon chiffon and chocolate pies. You will not go home hungry. They have kids and senior prices. Senior prices are after 2p. For 19.99 you get an entree, 2 sides, a roll, dessert and a drink.
The customer service in the food line was good. The service at the table was great. Very pleasant and attentive. Readily checked on us and refilled our drinks.
This is an older restaurant but still well maintained. Clean.“

“I enjoyed the chicken salad. I had the basic chicken salad on a salad with ranch. It was good except for the cucumbers. They were really bitter. The pickle was excellent. Parking was insane. I had to park at Trader Joe's. I'll be back next time I want chicken salad and don't want to make it myself.“

“Katie’s Kitchen is the absolute best!! My family had an emergency and wasn’t able to travel as planned for Thanksgiving. I needed to come up with something for my little family to eat for turkey day. Katie’s Kitchen staff let me place a last minute order and really saved our Thanksgiving. I am forever grateful for how kind they are! The food is also always wonderful!“

“Hey nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. when your order is missing something or even the cookie, they will make it right! I was greeted by my favorite cashier today! -- Lexi !!! -- She is always there to greet everyone with the warmest smile. They have a manager there that goes above and beyond to create a special atmosphere and a great customer service experience! ----- Ms Jordan ----- She definitely tries to nourish the soul from the inside out! “Friendly staff and good food. Manager is always coming around to ask how people are doing, but needs to work on cleanliness. Both times my wife and I were there tables near us were dirty and food was on the floor as well as ice cream too, and my wife and I eat an early lunch.“

“First time and I am IN LOVE WITH CHICKEN SALAD CHICK. Even my 21month old enjoyed it. Everything is amazing the salads, sandwiches, my favorite soup is the potatoe soup but I love their chicken soup as well... can't say much about their spicy items because I cannot have them but everything else is amazing.“

“I ordered to go the bake chicken broccoli and cheese and potato casserole they only serve white meat the piece was so big and thick and dry the skin was salty.The sweet potato casserole had pecans and was very stringy.I will not order there any no more. I was disappointed“

“This food is so, so, so GREAT!!! The portion sizes are better than most. These folks are about to blow my food budget. I had to talk myself down from ordering from them on yesterday. The variety is everything! You can easily eat at this restaurant 7 days given the array of foods. I especially love the veggies. Well, I especially love the banana pudding [authentic, down-home style] like Muddear used to make back in the day. The entrees are exceptional. Did I mention the corn bread? Okay, order an extra loaf for snacking later- its that good and you better not dip it in gravy - oh, yeah. I think this place has soul food on lock. Easily. I sample the city eateries here and there but not anymore. I have found my spot. This food is the way to anyone's heart. The customer service is excellent. Very warm and friendly work team. I love the way they assist each other. Call-in orders are hot and ready at the time quoted. A++++ restaurant!!!“

“Was in town from SC for a job and this place caught our attention.. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

“Stopped by Chicken Salad Chick in Olive Branch and tried the Bacon Cheddar Melt with the Fancy Nancy chicken salad — absolutely delicious! The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of crunch from the bacon and creaminess from the chicken salad. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Definitely a great spot for a tasty lunch, and I’ll be back to try more flavors!“

“Absolute must stop if you've never been. Food was great. Service was great. I had the Kam's Pork Chops, green beans and mashed potatoes, my son had the Chop Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Both were extremely happy. Only reason I give atmosphere a 4 is it could have been a little cleaner BUT it was late into the lunch hour so I am sure they were probably trying to get caught back up. Certainly not a show stopper. OH, and the sweet tea was great as well.“

“My first time at the Poplar location. The staff members including the manager were so friendly and welcoming. The manager suggested that I taste the broccoli salad and it was so delicious that I ended up adding it to my meal. The restaurant was very clean and the food was very tasty. I will definitely go back there again if I am in the area. Kudos to the staff 💕“

“Whenever I visit my uncle who lives in Frayser he always recommends we eat at this restaurant. It has a great variety of well-cooked soul food. Some of my favorite dishes are the fried fish and okra. They also have a great selection of desserts. The deli plate is usually what we get because you get a meat and two vegetables and your bread and a drink. They have a large variety of food to choose from, no matter what your taste bud is it will be satisfied by this great restaurant. It has also been in business for decades now“

“From Cincinnati and it was our first time here. Brandon our waiter was excellent and the GM Jackie stopped by the table and greeted us and talked for a few minutes. She was great, loved the atmosphere. Drinks were very good and the food was great. Would definitely come again.“

“I had the 3 meat sampler plate. Excellent! Top notch brisket. The sausage - oooo. They have a horse radish dipping sauce that is to die for. The Mac and cheese, full flavor but not a kid’s side. Service was also excellent. Jessica made us feel welcome. I’m a couple of hours drive away but will definitely return.“
