“Great food , great service“

“My 98yo grandmother wanted good, simple country food. We got her some fried fish, me some fried chicken, and then we got a pint of every side that looked good to us to have a nice, full, southern meal. As a southern momma myself, I tend to be very picky about my veggies and these are about as close as I have gotten to find food that taste homemade without having to make it myself. I know it has made caring for my grandmother today much easier and it is good to know there are delicious veggies for me as well just a quick order away. The young man at the counter was very friendly and the man who bagged up our order was so kind. I definitely plan to return and suggest it to other looking for affordable, good, quality, easy food.“

“My first time at the Poplar location. The staff members including the manager were so friendly and welcoming. The manager suggested that I taste the broccoli salad and it was so delicious that I ended up adding it to my meal. The restaurant was very clean and the food was very tasty. I will definitely go back there again if I am in the area. Kudos to the staff 💕“

“Great experience the food was great!! The timing was great we were not rushed The onion rinds were so good!!! We both had the white fish mine was blackened I asked for the seasoning to not be too heavy I wanted to be able to taste the fish. Y husband had the fish with lemon pepper. He loved his meal also. The sides were excellent also the whole.meal was served at the perfect temperature, that is very important to me. I really want the hot food piping hot and our cold slaw was I cold just the perfect temperature!! Our waiter was Q and he did a great job. Thank you for s great experience once again !! Your food and service are always top notch! We try to get to see you often we live in Olive Branch so it is a drive but always worth the neffort!“

“I had the 3 meat sampler plate. Excellent! Top notch brisket. The sausage - oooo. They have a horse radish dipping sauce that is to die for. The Mac and cheese, full flavor but not a kid’s side. Service was also excellent. Jessica made us feel welcome. I’m a couple of hours drive away but will definitely return.“

“I enjoyed the chicken salad. I had the basic chicken salad on a salad with ranch. It was good except for the cucumbers. They were really bitter. The pickle was excellent. Parking was insane. I had to park at Trader Joe's. I'll be back next time I want chicken salad and don't want to make it myself.“

The variety is everything! You can easily eat at this restaurant 7 days given the array of foods. I especially love the veggies. I sample the city eateries here and there but not anymore. I have found my spot. This food is the way to anyone's heart. The customer service is excellent. Very warm and friendly work team. “Ate there today for the first time! Got there around 11:30 and was seated around 11:50. Denny was 5 Star! I can’t thank her enough for helping me with my toddler since I was solo😅. Everyone was so patient and kind! Food is REAL home-cooked food! The pecan pie & ice cream were my fave! I think the train was my little man’s fave haha! I can’t wait to go again!“
