“We swung by this spot on our way out of town because it had been calling my name on Yelp, and it sure didn't let us down! The fried chicken was among the best I've ever tasted - perfectly spicy and oh-so-crunchy, just how you'd want it. The sides didn't disappoint either; we went for the fried pickles (heavenly!), mac and cheese, and fries. Regrettably, I didn't snap a photo of our feast, but trust me, it was spectacular. And the staff? Simply wonderful. Their smiles and helpfulness really made us feel right at home.“

“I was a first timer and I'm always excited about supporting a black owned business and I told the cashier that but she wasn't friendly or talkative at all, the food was expensive (but what's not these days) but IT WAS SOOO GOOD! “Went on a Saturday at lunch time and they were not busy. Staff was incredibly friendly and the food was great. The broccoli salad and the Olivia's chicken salad are amazing! The grape salad is delicious and the turkey club was really good too. We will be back!“

“Cool place, the downstairs be be loud especially when it's busy which is often the case, the upstairs is very cool, love when all the doors are open. They do offer brunch on weekends which is pretty good. Service can be a bit slow but they try their best even when they seem understaffed.“
“My husband and I aren't fans of buffets under normal circumstances but we were given free breakfast by the hotel so we figured, why not? We came down for Saturday breakfast buffet and scored a very nice booth right across from the buffet area. Our friendly waitress immediately brought coffee and juice and checked on us throughout the meal and removed the plates, etc. She was a sweetheart. She even brought me a mug to include in my instagram pic that said "Guest House at Graceland" while I was taking pics of my guitar waffles, lol. The choices are great - they had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy all warm in the warming station. They also had a waffle bar and omelette bar you could order made fresh for you. My husband had a HUGE omelette and enjoyed it. The waffle was good and had a guitar in the center. They had a side bar with fresh fruits, yogurt, parfait and cereal and milk. The food was very good, warm, fresh and constantly being refilled. Inside seating is nice, tabletop was nice, and the decor is nice. It was very clean. We actually really enjoyed the meal and commented it was way above expectations.“

My only critique would be how the fish and grits were plated, once i made it home, a great amount of my grits were in the bag but other than that everything was good. We will definitely request to be sat in her section during any future visits!Kid-friendliness: On the kids' menu, it has pictures for the kids to color & little activities, such as a crossword puzzle, but it had only 2 crayons to use (red & blue)! There is also a big size checker board outside on the patio area & one in the dining area, which is free to play!“
