“My wife and I went, and she had the catfish and I the salmon. Very tasty. I knocked one star because for a $24 and $28 plates, they should have real silverware. It was near close on Sunday, but the plastic knife fork and spoon in the wrapper just ruined it for me.“

“Right literally across the street from the world famous Ground Zero blues bar owned by Morgan Freeman, I stumbled into this place one late night from lounge & juke joint hopping and the wings & fries were EXACTLY what I needed. The Delta is always seeded with an international audience here to study the Blues and surrounding culture, so you're always bound to be seated next to an interesting conversation.Since then I've had many sober visits and have tried the burgers, pasta, and more wings. It's a reason I keep going back, try it out.??...just look for the Cadillac limo out front ?“

“We went in after the lunchtime rush. There was one or two other people in the whole place. We were greeted with a smile and felt very welcome even though it was clearly a quiet time. Our waitress was great, sorry I didn't catch her name. We know she is also a very giving person, witnessing her interaction with members of the community was heartwarming. Food was yum and beer was tasty.“

Crossroads Liquor & Wine Southern •
900 Desoto Ave, Clarksdale

“I have eaten here several times in the past. The rib tips and tamales were the best ever!!! But Business was so good for Larry that he closed up shop and reopened on Getwell in Memphis, hoping to make a lot more money (word of his fantastic word had spread to nearby Memphis and he correctly figured that his food would be popular with a bigger market). After just a few months, he closed his Memphis location. I know all of the above to be true. The word was and still is that Larry's food was so popular that he had too much business and had to work so hard and so many hours that he just quit. Although unconfirmed, this most probably the truth. As far as I know, Larry has not returned his business to Clarksdale and has no plans to do so.“
