I ate there a couple years ago , it’s the best chicken I ever put in my mouth and haven’t found another chicken joint to come to close to matching it. This place knows how to cook yard bird .
Great spicy fried chicken!
My mom wanted to try Gus after seeing a family friend visiting here. We made sure to visit before going back to Illinois after our family reunion. Man let me tell you ….Gus didn’t disappoint. The chicken had the right amount of crispness and spicy seasoning. Also the collard greens were 🔥but my bake beans somewhat cold. We definitely will be back during our next trip to Mississippi.
