“So when I first heard of this place, it was the place where they cook red chicken. The chicken is red, crunchy and good. Eat it while it is hot. If you find yourself in Somerville TN on highway 76 stop by the Chicken Coop and try the chicken. You have to go early because the food sells out fast.“

“Been eating Gus's in Mason for almost 30 years. Moved to Somerville a few years ago and tried the Coop. Just as good as Gus's. I'd have to drive right past the Chicken Coop to go to Mason. There is no need to make that drive. The spicy chicken at Chicken Coop is as good or better than any fried chicken I've had. And I go out of my way to try any halfway famous chicken when we travel.“
